The fact that some of the most annoying bosses in the game have the highest holy resistance are why I will probably never put together a golden order build. It’s a shame too because they’re some of my favorite spells aesthetically.

If you don’t mind hybrid, you could equip a flame or sacred weapon as they scale with faith. Cold and Magic scale with intelligence too.

Ik this is old but its rlly not that bad i made one its pretty fun. The discus spells are pretty good even against 40% holy negation. Anything above that i just use the SoNaF

THEY HAD 80%!? Now I know why my 1st play through felt so weak. I was a holy knight build and I really thought it because I was just bad and had to get good which one did but the final boss felt impossible but my friend said his weakest element is fire and it worked but I didn't know I was basically putting 2x the work. Of course I'm mainly talking the bosses that have this resistance mobs were easy.

My goldmask run was probably one of my favourites, even though the spells are so far away from eachother. The pvp with it was surprisingly good too

Yeah, it’s under rated in pvp, lol the triple spells are difficult to dodge since they cover so much area for a long time

For anyone who happens to see this and happens to be interested, "gaol" is an archaic form of the word "jail." It went out of fashion during the late 19th century in Britain, but it can still be found in some old legal documents. "Gaol" and "jail" are pronounced the same.

Honestly the single discus is really good given how early you could potentially find it, the fact it's attached to such a good seal, and how cheap it is to find. Sure it could be better given most people might not even find goldmask their first run (I sure didnt), but it could really be worse for a bought spell. Greater Will knows there's a ton of those

I have had a ton of fun blending golden order incantations with death spells using the prince of death staff. Using ring of light, triple rings of light, some buffs and some versitile damage with death rancor, explosive ghostflame and nightmaidens mist and rycards rancor is a really fun versitile way to play. I do wish that for the order seal and the prince of death staff they should be able to cast both sorcieries and incantations because fiddling around with them is sometimes annoying but it is a really enjoyable build

I love this dude, I bet it's even more fun having your mimic do the spells too

I really tried to do a Jesus Run but those high holy resistances on some bosses and certain enemies made it absolutely maddening.

btw theres a somber 8 and 9 in caelid btw for future runs. somber 8 over by the caelid divine tower and somber 9 by the bridge with the dragon on it near the beastial sanctum

I love the speedrunners music you put in for the final boss fight. Good ass game

After I found the Albinauric farming spot, I always use the Sacred Sword weapon skill because it makes clearing the area a breeze and with the golden scarab, I get around 100-110 thousand runes each run.

huh, this explains why my priest felt like shit on late game, all three last bosses are almost immune to holy T-T

"we snatch the key to the academy and use both the teleporters at the academy to get to the highway" WHY did I never think of this? I always use some convoluted route where I go around to the right side and take the wind up with Torrent next to the cave/mausoleum.

Try Immolation (the spell that sets you on fire) with the Tree Sentinel Shield, you can endlessly reflect as long as the spell is active.

@@tototriceps I have to disagree for PvE, at least against bosses that some have insane Holy defense, on my hybrid caster build I found them to be pretty good, with smart positioning Discus of Light and Triple Rings of Light can be used to his secondary targets on the way back, Radagon's Rings of Light has impressive range when charged and hits pretty hard, sure it's not the fastest casting spell, but good spacing can allow you to take full advantage of the spell.

Before i get ten seconds into this video, i vote we call this type of run the "Holier Than Thou" run, in account of all the holy resistance enemies and literal gods we have to beat. :)

Just looking at this game floods my head with dopamine (especially 12:42)

The point is that its easy cause the game allows for strats like that.

Take the management approach. Drop all the minerals in a section of cave with lootbugs, let them eat, then loot them all 😎

The Golden Order is not just a set of beliefs, it's a political, metaphysical and social structure. It's the geopolitical situation in which the only major power is Leyndell and it's allies (in Stormwind, Caelid and Liurnia). It's a metaphysical situation in which Destined Death is confined (and later sealed), Scarlet Rot is sealed, Frenzied Flame is persecuted, Giant's Flame is guarded and the Dark Moon and Full Moon are tolerated only so long as they don't challenge the status quo. It's a social structure in the way that it promises the Erdtree blessings that heal, strengthen, renew and preserve it's beneficiaries. And in the way that those who can't benefit from the blessings are thought to be imperfections in the "eternal" and "perfect" nature of the tree. It's a holistic state of the world in all it's aspects.

I did a run that centered around these spells and the sacred order sword it was fun

I use the discuss of light spell a lot a little tip if you take sword of milos in your other hand you can use the ash of war to debuff everyone and then you get your fp back on every kill making you even more mana efficiënt

@@tototriceps This is weird, as this has trivialized areas like Farum Azula for me. Against undead this gets +900% damage in a huge area, big enough to hit all enemies for 2-3k damage

I hope every time you used an incantation you shouted "THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELLES YOU!!!" or "KNEEL BEFORE THE LORD!!!!"

I wish we could see Marika and radagon before they're just a dried up hardened shell that's fallen apart. I also wish they would give some backstory as to what the fuck happened to them. They just got locked in there, crucified and turned into a husk for the light of the golden order or whatever, the crucible of the elden ring, or something like that. I wish we knew what the fuck the deal is there.
