I did this challenge a while ago, so much fun! definitely worth doing

I've done this run 1 year ago, and it was so cool !!! And I love that the boss difficulty is totally reversed !! Deacon of the deep was painfull and I discover the curse spell that I never see in 10 previous run, twin prince were SO painfull (4rez for me..) and same for king of storm.. But nameless King (phase 2) and Gael (phase 2) were so easy !!! That was funny

I've tried over 10 different challenges including this exact one. This is my first time watching your vids. Good job keep up the good work! Challenge Order from easiest to hardest (also the order I did them in) Magic Only Pyro Only Sorceries Only Items Only Bow Only Throwing Knives Only Broken Straight Sword Only Soul Level 1 Miracles Only Shields Only No Rolling, No Ranged Weapons, No Shields. No Souls Spent Fist Only I beat the entire game except the last 2, where I didn't fight Nameless, Midir and Gael. I Tried and failed. I have also tried a No Hit Run, but the furthest I ever got to was the Fire Shooting Deacons before Aldrich.

I really don't get why you don't have more attention, you deserve it and your videos are amazing!

I started this video without knowing that was your actual voice and I legit just fell in love with it, time to play "Guess where that accent is from" Nevermind, I was guessing Siberia but he's actually from Italy.

I cant wait to run this, I tried the staff bonk only and it was quite simply too much for my feeble gamer brain I did a bloodborne gun run, and while guns were broken in bloodborne it was still a real challenge! hoping for some similar fun here

I hope you'll do more challenges and stuff in both DS3 as well as DS 1 and 2 :)

Thanks! I will for sure do a shield only run, but I don't now about the fist only run for now. I think it would take so long that it can make sense in a future where I am streaming, so I'd say it will happen just not in the next months

I know i'm quite late to the party but for the nameless king and the princes the best is to always stay at mid range the bosses usually bug around that distance and just walk to you like it happened with the nameless king(sometimes) same happens to Gael .... sometimes loved the videos! already saw like 5 and will see many more

Beautiful run ! Have you ever played xbows? I only tested them a little without min/maxxing ... in my test they performed worse than bows. (not including the weapon swap one shot shennanigans with the repeating xbow 🤭). Btw, you are crazy for doing the miracle only run 🤗😄, wtf was that crystal lizard beating gundyr start?!

Reminds me of my friend doing a pistol only hard mode RE4 run, back in the day. Though if I recall correctly, there is actually one fight that would run him out of ammo, so he had to use a few grenades.

The one handed R1 of a greathammer makes it so that his stab attacks go over your head, made it really easy for me the first time around, so I never understood why people struggled with him. Then I tried it with a straightsword...

Thank you! I leveled a bit strength and dexterity at the beginning, the brought vigor to around 30, then leveled about evenly endurance strength and dexterity until I had 30 in all of them. For the last levels you can choose the stat you prefer, the millwood bow works best with high strength, but maybe you want more hp, stamina or focus, depending on how you play

Yeah I thought about it, it was actually the reason why I took it so early in the first place. I decided against it in the end because the arrows cost so many souls that I couldn't afford them so early in the game, if I were to fail the fight twice I would have been broke

I almost always try to do a bow run in every fromsoft game that has them, and i must admit.. i did it Dex based, leaning on the roll shots and status where possible. you definately used greatbows and weapon arts more than i did, so credit to ya there.

i did this too, but mostly used black bow to shotgun most bosses in melee range or cheesed with dark arrows from afar

Oh yeah it makes sense, the black bow does some insane damage if all three arrows hit. I wanted to try it with some bosses, but at the end of the day for me fully upgrading three weapons didn't make a lot of sense. It's super cool though

A fist weapons only that would be even more challenging hahaha i dare you to try it

The bow you get from Aldrich can ignore shields iirc. That might have been neat with gravetender

You can get the Hawk ring without killing the archer giant in the undead settlement. He will die by himself if you collect all the white birch tree branches in Undead settlement, Cathedral of the deep and Farron Keep.

i did do this challenge but it was on vanilla dark souls 2 2 years ago if that can interest you and yeah it's definitely possible of course

Yeah I absolutely want to make videos on it, I played it on the ps3 and it's a game I love. Unfortunately I can't quite justify buying a ps5 at the moment and finding them is possible but not easy, but for sure it's going to happen in the future
