Before I learned the lore I thought he was a she If I'm right aldrich is the slug and I'm now not sure if it's a he or she or anything Aldrich is the slug who ate gwyndolin I think

The other dragon dies because they both have the Pus in them, the other pus also activates when you attack one of them. Also for Oceiros, that charge attack does come out of no where. There is no tell that he is going to do it. So the only way to dodge it is luck or if you happen to be far enough away to see it coming.

The twin princes glitch happens when you kill lothric near the red carpet under the stairs so you basically did a well known cheese strat for them

Tip for the deacons fight if you do another challenge run where they wall you: the tall ones in the blue robes that are casting the dark shit up in the air are the ones building up the curse. If you kill them, the cloud goes away until the next bunch of them respawn

Twin princes is a glitch where if you kill the first phase right in front of the stairs, the second phase will deagro them unless you hit them wrong but the bow doesn’t reagro them

The thing about the dogs teleporting is explained in one of zulie the witch videos, the thing is that the engine works in a way that when npcs are out of camera they skip frames in their animations to save resources and that leads to this weird "bug" with the dogs where by being so fast and skiping frames they get to a ridiculohs speed and end up in front of you

The shadow realm occurs due to the game avoiding to load unecessary animations when you are not looking, but that kinda fucks up some walls interactions, so yeah, lowering your graphics could help to avoid such issue depending on the GPU

This vid is excellently put together! Although I'm yet to complete dark souls (do I even game??), a bow only run is the one that has always intrigued me!

You should look up the let’s play videos from RKG. They have played DS1-3, Bloodborne, and Sekiro. They’re the guys who used to work at IGN UK. But they’re really entertaining and funny while playing… sounds like you’d be into their channel. They play other games too, but I just watch them do the souls games

About the Lorian and Lothric thing, essentially when the phase transition happens if you are behind where Lorian phase 2 spawns in his and lothrics ai just freezing and they don't do anything unless you hit lothric

It's possible to cheese Ocerios by luring him near some branches you can stand behind and fire arrows at him from. Or maybe it was lure him behind those branches and then fire at him with a bow. Think it was the first option.

Auts, glad im not the only one who vent fhrew this pain, did this challenge twice, first playthrough and NG, those who want to try this also, prepare for extreme frustration

the twin princes not attacking you is because the younger prince will only attack you if it can "see" you in front of it but if you use a blue elixir before interring the boss room he will not attack until it runs out and you in front of him but by then you should be behind him shooting him in the head with arrows and when the elder prince spawns in the same happens sense you aren't in front of him he wont attack you leaving you free you pelt them with arrows

Duuuude I tried bow and crossbow only for 3 and I stalled at pontiff, I never beat him, it was fun up to that point but pontiff was awful

the deacons curse can be stopped. The tall deacons are around back casting the curse spell and you can kill them.

For everyone that doesn't know you can avoid Aldrich's arrow attack by hiding in the farthest back part of the area

Hey im super late to the party but u can avoid the arrow storm by standing at the complete opposite side of the fog wall where the statues are in Aldrich's arena

I know you’re never going to see this and probably know now but in the first phase of Aldrich if you run directly behind them during the arrow attack, they won’t follow you and you can just go to town for a good few seconds 🤘🏻

YOU HAVE NO idea what you missed for the twin princes second phase . GOOD GOD I thought that would be the end of my bow only run. Hitting lothric is utterly impossible so you have to grind Lorian down till you can pelt lothric with a few arrows. It is nearly impossible to even kill both without running out of arrows! in fact I actually did run out but I had some other arrows equipped but Jesus Christ lothric is by far THE TRUE final boss for a bow only run. (of the main game…)

why didnt you use alluring skulls on the deacons to distract them from the main one? also the staircase glitch for the princes is a pretty well known cheese and it was the way i beat them for the first time.

I'm pretty sure it only happens in phase two, so maybe he was just stuck on phase one for quite a while, and then it's 90 seconds from the beginning of phase 2 or something like that.
