the original rules said "use as minimum items possible" well, the statue isn't possible without that, so technically you could beat it without attacking

A very sane block tales player

There's actually one more bux that is hanging around the roof of Iron Cafe, to get there, you need to precisely jump on the window frame but using the little sign stand as a platform, then you quickly strafe jump on the roof. Afterwards, you walk towards the bux that is hanging on top of a light post. There is in fact a youtube tutorial regarding this but I hope this helps in case you are doing this challenge again in the next chapter,

So, then if Item+ makes it so bombs do 4 damage, why didn't you get it instead of defense+ so it would only take 5 bombs to kill the statue? Doesn't this mean the real amount of items needed is 12?

ye I forgot about item plus until final boss and the statue skip was found after I recorded the run so it only really takes 7 items to beat the game

you don't need any bombs for cruel king. whenever he has spawned all 3 of his minions he gets stuck on 1 attack, and if this attack isnt refreshing heal then you win. if you don't wanna die to minions or dont wanna kill them, just use a tank build

I know I’m a bit late, but it’s actually possible to skip the Blackrock Statue fight entirely with a glitch. Not really sure how, I saw it in a speedrun. Although, the pit is still impossible without items.

Storm tea restores sp but also deals 3 DM to all enemies. I wouldn’t consider drinking tea to be an attack.

Actually that's the easiest way to play the game. Defend+ combined with defender and safe guard is REALLY broken

i did this myself before watching this and you can get the thorns card before fighting a single enemy: Collect all 6 bux in bizville and the 1 bux in hq and your set for the run

10:30 you can actually stomp on the enemies to avoid fighting them

To get counter to red and blue Must blue pierce body and just block it (Same as red) But in 3 frame per sec

sentient statue's attacks all have the 'ranged' modifer, meaning they aren't affected by thorns. defense+ however will be very useful

I already did this in my cruel king 3:13 duo speedrun where i won without doing any dmg on my one slot.

After you get the abillity to shrink, in bizzvile there is a sign that says "docks" in front of that there is a hole and you enter it, use abillity to get through the hole and go to the other door, there you go
