The Raphael hit had to have done between 2880 damage and 3250-ish Jeezums
I think dividing the content by act is a nice way to divide the videos and allows us to receive more regular content which is always nice so I'd prefer you continue in this format. Looking forward to seeing what you try with honor mode. Doing something simple like giving all enemies an extra action and higher HP would certainly make for a challenge but it might require a lot of restarts depending how you play it
Time for dice math with Raphael! -180 instances of 4 damage, each of which procs Psionic Overload and Lightning Charge -Psionic Overload does 1d4 (avg 2.5) doubled bc its a crit -LCs do a flat 1 lightning damage -Mace itself does 1d8+1 (avg 5.5) boosted to 2d8+1 (avg 10) bc its a crit -*2 bc hes vulnerable to everything (Perilous stakes) leaving us with the lovely equation of 2(180(4+5+1)+10+5+1) simplified to 2(180(10)+16) or even more simply, 3,632 points of get fucked stupid idiot damage. (note: due to the sheer number of dice being rolled it is completely impractical to even bother looking at individual damage numbers. Once you're rolling a large enough number of dice, things tend to stick very close to the mean to where it's good practice when using physical dice in an irl dnd game to simply not roll anything requiring more than like 10 die unless you really want to waste like 30 minutes counting d6s)

I'm adding the phrase "get fucked stupid idiot damage" because that is beautiful
7:28 You don’t need to pickpocket Helsik to open the gate. All of the ingredients you need are upstairs around the room with the portal. The incense is just sitting on a table and doesn’t show up in the item view, only one that isn’t obvious and easily found. Skull is in the coffin. The rest are just in locked chests and such and you can take your time/dont need a pickpocketing character. 10:32 you can get a permanent +3 to Charisma - the +1 and the +2 are independent events and you can get them both with the right rolls. Wiki has more info but it’s the only way to reach 24 CHA which is the best possible casting stat in the game.
@theroboticpotato

I fully believe that wisdom is the better casting stat because basically nothing has high wisdom in 5e/bg3
@Barely_Edited

You can reach 24cha without the +1 from the mirror of loss. 17, ASI, half-ASI (through feat or splitting it with something else), Birthright from sorcerous sundries to 22, and mirror of loss to go from 22 to 24 The +1 might be more efficient, letting you take a feat like Alert or res:Con or spell sniper without needing to take another +1 for cha thouh

@@theroboticpotato not sure what you mean since every casting stat works the same for the purposes of having your enemies fail their saves

@mel-burnes to explain if you look in the monster manual you'll find that the most common dump stat for monsters is wisdom, which makes it (technically) the best casting stat , it also dosent help that the 2 caster classes that use it are STUPIDLY OP
@mel-burnes

@@theroboticpotato once again, im not getting how casting from wis is better than casting from any other stat. now sure you could make an argument that having high wis is good because most mental saves you're required to make target wisdom, but the specific type of your casting stat doesn't affect the dcs. 8+PB+Mod is the same whether you're casting from Wis and targeting Wis or you're casting from Int and targeting Cha.
This has been a great series, love these kinds of challenges! As for the future, I think keeping each act separate is a good play. Another BG3 challenge KZreadr, Fracture, did a "beat the game at level 1" challenge that they uploaded in 3 parts by act, but at the end uploaded a "movie length" version of all 3 videos together, I think that's a great way of doing it if you want a longer video option for a complete run. Looking forward to what's next, Merry Christmas!
I love the presentation of these videos, going act by act keeps the videos a nice length and has a good separation/stopping point between videos. These have been incredibly well done and I hope to see more. Merry Christmas to you too!
This was such a well put together series. I'm glad I stumbled upon your channel!
this has been such an interesting series, i genuinely loved every single part of it, the editing is on point, never lost my interest in watching it in the slightest, also learned something new that i probably wouldn't have done at all in my playthroughs, and you just made me wanna try this for myself. Not to mention i've also learned how to synergize things a lot more and you made me look into even more ways to synergize spells to increase my damage. Amazing videos man, keep it up, you're very underrated and very entertaining!
I finally finished the game and could watch this vid. Splitting your challenges per act with 3 videos is better for youtube recommandations and you deserve to grow
Solo Honour Mode Pacifist would be dope! Merry christmas too! (Incredible work btw)

So what would be the stipulations behind it? Are summons allowed? Are other companions allowed? There are instances in the game where fighting is basically guaranteed to progress the story. If it were TRUE pacifist lone wolf, then you'd be long dead before the game even started.
Loved it! I would absolutely watch your video idea and I think the 3 act video structure works! The only reason I could think of to do it all in one video is if the act structure made the videos really short
Been waiting for this! Banger content, will return for whatever you do next
Coming to the party a few months late, but it would be really cool to see the final build breakdown at the end of these videos! Really cool stuff. Keep up the good work.
I really like the videos separated in acts. That gives each act enough screen to fill a full video, while also making you able, to put out videos faster/more often.
Loved all 3 parts! You are going to have a great career here in no time at this rate! I look forward to the Honor Mode run for sure! I think a "Jack of all trades" run for it would be awesome to see. It would allow you to use party members (but solo would make it the challenge that you want) and with the insane amount of utilities you get from all classes at Level 1, it would make some great content to see how you handle each situation.
I have to thank the KZread algorythm for recommending me your videos, this was an amazing series. I do prefer it being split into the 3 acts rather than one single video tho, since it would take a lot more time for you to upload that one and it gives a nice break inbetween the acts.
definitely a video for each act, makes it nice and digestible
I loved this series and i also love hearing Persona songs. Keep it up man
I freaking loved this series! Splitting your content into the acts is a good play. It'll create an easier buffer for you between videos as well. Longer videos will take longer to edit and finish but cutting them up will give you a chance to better organize and plan. You could always do what some content creators do and make a "Supercut" of the whole thing in one video. It's just a combination of all three videos into one.
nah cuz your act 1 of this got recommended to me only earlier this day and then i watched part 2 and then you release act 3 on the same say i found this!?!? legendary timing, also these videos are way too good for only 6k subs
Amazing man ! I really appreciate how you explain all the stuffs and spells ;) So I have a challenge for U: beating the game using a wizard dry off his magic so he can only uses parchments ? Force à toi ✊🏻
Doing a solo playthrough in honour mode is absolutely insane, look how many times you died without getting a single turn. Of course you can always have a party member alive in camp, but assuming you bring the party along in honour mode: I think a solid team member in honour mode is a healer build. Easily set up in early game act 1. - 1 level paladin, oath of ancients & 2 levels in cleric life domain. Both AoE heals reset on a short rest. - Gauntlets from zevlor (reward or pickpocketed) grant blade ward to all allies healed. - Boots from grat the trader grants 3 temporary hit points to all allies healed. - Ring from volo grants blessing to allies healed, removing the need to concentrate on it. - Ring from omeluum in underdark (after getting quest items from arcane tower) heals targets for 2 more on every heal - Helm reward from saving the tiefling refugees restores 1-6 hit points to the caster when healing another creature, works really good with warding bond to sustain the punishment you share to yourself. Also works with lay on hands when choosing lesser healing for 1 charge twice over greater healing for 2 charges. Further ahead we got - Talisman from esther at the rosymorn trail makes it so your healing spells always heal for maximum and your healer gets back up automatically if it got downed. Also has heavy armor proficiency so you can craft the heavy adamantine armor to compliment warding bond.
I think 1 video per act is the perfect size for content like this. Helps to keep it easily digestible. As for an honour mode challenge, you could attempt a Jack of All Trades solo run? The Jack of All Trades is an achievement you get from successfully multi classing into every class on the same character without respecs

Great series! I find it so amusing, that you oneshottet the final boss with a spell, that most people say is one of the worst in the game xD
very good editing and really nice video. Well done
Nice series definitely looking forward to more
just binged this little series, great job man
Your challenges are super fun. Looking forward to the next video!
Awesome stuff, very entertaining
Awesome vid Bouch!
How about honour mode consumable/throwable only? It sounds fun on how you can figure out how to solve how to beat the game with that! Also was fun seeing this whole series really wanna see more from you
I had no idea there was a backdoor to hopes prison, no matter how much you play this game there's always something you miss!
dude youre killing it.
This was great, dont really have any suggestions but this series was amazing! I love how you did a lot of optional content you didnt really need to do just because, made it really feel like a real playtrough. One question tho: Why didnt you kill Ansur? Is it due to him being immune to lightning and such impossible to one-shot with your build?
@FrostyFyre

I had the same question about Ansur actually 😂
That hit on Raphael was amazing, great planning and trick.
Ah, yes... the happy times when you could use Perilous Stakes on enemies as a de-buff. I haven't even unlocked that power on anyone in my current play-through. I beelined to Ability Drain instead, but I sure miss the ability to make bosses vulnerable to everything.
These videos are awesome but the persona music in the back is the best part lol
I'm not sure what encumbrance does to classes like Sorcerer or Warlock. I would think that you wouldn't be able to move as much, and that's it. Then I remembered disadvantage... If you're up for that pain, I'm here for it!
thank you for the great videos! My vote is to keep act separate!
I'm sure whatever you do next, it's gonna be fun
18:54 I believe that critical hits bypass Unstoppable charges, because when I was doing that fight as sneaky archer first shot in every turn (guaranted crit because sneak attack) was unaffected by Unstoppable, but followup shot was always only 1 damage.
ok rewatching this can i just say i really like listening to you pronounce lorroakan's name . the rolled R's !!!
nice video dude thanks been wondering if i should buy this game not entiredly sure tho
The mirror always gives 2 of the chosen stat btw, theres just a specific dialogue line that can randomly appear with it for always +1 charisma also
6:27 There's another staff I would consider to be better. The staff you get from killing the Mummy Lord. It's a bit bugged atm since it doesn't drain its charges as it should. But if you kill an enemy with a spell. you can then cast a necromancy spell at any level without expending a spellslot. You can do this as many times as you'd like without resting. The bug is simply that the charges don't get consumed so if you don't 1hit you'll be spending charges.
For some reason when my friends and I did the Oryn fight in our multiplayer run my rogue assassin was able to completely bypass her unstoppable effects whilst critical hitting (I had many buffs to my crit range) so it seems like for some reason for her specifically crits ignore unstoppable.
I wonder why during the Nightsong V Lorrokan Fight Rolan didn't swap sides, because I know that's able to happen cause I did it, but I completely forget how you're suppose to do it. I just remeber him realizing Lorrokan is absolutly fucking insane.

You mentioned giving ideas for an honor mode playthrough. I'm curious to see how difficult a Jack of All Trades run (every class at once without using withers) would be on honor mode
Cant wait for your next challenge
For Seravok, I told him I would do the ritual then his servants would leave meaning he would fight without those buffs
During the flight with cultists in a temple of Baal i think it is posible to use something like force arrow with bufs for every hit, u can cast up to 9 bolts, so last four is fully damaging, and each needs only 22 damage witch is really manageable
I want to see chain reactions. Do a run where you beat all the bosses with Rube Goldberg Machine mechanics. i.e. throwing a potion at a downed burning ally such that they walk towards you while immolated, lighting a nearby series of greases on the ground, which ignites runepowder bomb in the boss chamber. idk, stuff like that is hella fun.
I'd say the staff you get from Mystic Carron is the best in the game, targets have disadvantage against necromancy spells and for every kill you get you can cast a necromancy type spell for free. Much like Scarlet Saturation you can get the buffs from destroying objects, so you can pretty much spam circle of death.
I Think its cool you have it separated by cast but maybe Also make a combilation video of all 3 so you Can Watch it one go!
I think you should keep them divided because it allows us to stay engaged with the playthrough and videos come out sooner
2 videos sound just right my man.
For your honor mode run, try a pokemon trainer run. All damage must be dealt by summons/pets. No damage must come from items, environment, etc. Your characters may not target enemies with any spells, only your own pets/summons. You may still throw items at any target.
> shows up > one-shots your archduke nominee > refuses to elaborate > leaves
I love how you achieved this while using a spell many consider the worst lol nice
Honour mode idea (or just in general): Playthrough where you can only deal damage with Vicious Mockery (Maybe Dissonant Whispers too if you feel that *only* Vicious Mockery would be too much of a slog)
For Helsik you don’t need to pickpocket or fight her, just agree to steal the hillgiant strength gloves, bring them back to her, and just buy them off her for like 900 gold haha. Unless you’re doing Blood Money cheese, gold isn’t really a problem. It saves you about 19k gold doing it this way vs having to pickpocket her, or paying 20kg
honor mode challenge, Only Summoned creatures (none characters) can deal damage, might be impossible based on the final bosses legendary action but i think that would be a nice change for a challenge run.
Great series, I'm interested to know how long it took to work out all the damage calculations
14:49 "Bro your hits are astounding" hit raphael so hard that his buddy just gave up
I just found youre Videos and i gotta say that shit is entertaining as hell keep it up my guy
wow that was amazing!
I got to say, I am pleasantly surprised to see Bouch didn't use a single time the Barrelmancy. While I also like to see big explosions, it would have made this challenge too easy. I think I'm gonna play as a sorcerer for my next playthrough, considering how good it performs xD.
Accepting Raphael's deal to get the hammer then go to his home to tear the contract appart... I didn't even think of that. The number of way you can navigate a situation in this game is just crazy, definitly deserve his GOTY. Wow, this figth with Sarevok seem difficult. you could do a single class only team for honor mode, would be interesting
Dude, people brow-beating games in such a technical way; it is absolutely beyond my tiny brain. 😂 Even for franchises I'm more the intimately familiar with, I just can't come up with creative or OP combinations of things. I'm so jelly of big wrinkly brains like yours.
When fighting Orin, I had a very similar scenario... Her cultists were all still alive, and she still had more than enough "unstoppable" charges. Yet my spells/attacks dealt damage to her.
Literally started watching this series today and was like crap now I have to wait for Act 3 but guess who posted 9 minutes ago
Id be quite interested in seeing weapons or feats or classes ranked in this game by you
Goddamit that was awesome.
Free spell is broken from the release. Even through the fight, u can just unequip something (like clothes) and cast anything, even monk open hand abilities, for example. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with paladins smites.
I had the same bug with orin's unstoppable charges. When she's at max stacks the first hit isn't reduced, the remaining stacks do work, though.
i loved watching these a lot! i still don't understand how you did so much damage though D:
@skeletonwar4445
6 ай бұрын
The majority of the damage comes from a combination of three things: 1) Wet Making enemies wet makes them "vulnerable" to lightning/thunder damage, which means they take *double* damage from lightning/thunder attacks 2) Destructive Wrath Tempest Domain Cleric's "Destructive Wrath" passive lets you use up your Divinity charge to make a lightning/thunder attack roll its highest possible damage 3) Luck of the Far Realms This illithid power lets you, once per long rest, force any attack to be a critical hit All three combined means you can get any thunder/lightning attack you want to be a maximum roll, double damage crit.
Honor mode in one hit or honor mode without companions would be interesting
one video per act seems fine :) 20-30 min is a good video length ^^
heavily encumbered honor mode is so funny
After watching videos of people coasting through BG3 I clearly did not know what I was doing during my playthrough.

From the first vid I didn't expect this to become more Goku kamehameha but I'm not complaining
love the videos i would love to see you beat the game using salami
The end of a great trilogy
19:00 The first attack against Orin, every single turn, always does full damage even if she has unstoppable charges. I assume that's the case so ppl can get the achievement in a more reasonable way.
Maybe you can roll a load of off meta builds? Like we all know the Gloomstalker Ranger, the Paladin and such. Would love to see some dumb shit like an Alchemist Character who also has the Tavern Brawler Feat and so you throw potions around as your damage since you will get (or should i say, should get) the initial bludgeon from the item dropping and then the potion breaking and spewing out to damage. I don't see many people take up Alchemy, granted its somewhat lack luster as like many games an auto loot feature is needed for random wild herb pickings - thankfully modders exist
just ... wow, man :D
And Orins servant ended the challenge with unstoppable doing as it should.
I said it last time and I’ll say it again! Keep this production quality up and you’re going to be massive. Make sure you don’t get stuck onto one game
Could you please do a build breakdown and leveling guide for this?
i recently fought Orin and found her acting the same way. The first hit in a turn you do to her hits for full damage, then the unstoppable charges kick in. Wasn't like this in previous patches so I wonder if it's intentional to have an easier time with just her?
I Know could sounds crazy but i just count the damage done to Raphael ,i have done it slowing the video at 0.25 and adding manually on calculactor so i'm not precise but i think you have done somenthing between 5k-6k damage GG !
I'd be so interested in seeing a "No Magic" playthrough. No spells, Illithid Powers, or Magic Items; just normal humans trying to survive.
In my orin fight, somehow, my asterion sneaky shot bypassed unstoppable charges too.
Honor mode but if your familiar dies you die
17:35 you know that you don't need to kill Sarevok or have the amulet in order to enter that door, right? You can just shoot an arrow through the corpses hanging in front of the door.
