​@@rifadorx Commander IS a support. Sure the 24/7 chaining is gone, but does it really matter? Most people you see would not chain commander that effectively anyway, and even with bad chaining, you can still win, thanks to the passive 20% firerate buff you get. Add that to the APC it spawns to avoid leaks and provide more backline support. And before you can mald by its chaining, this is the sole reason why consumables existed, to give it more purposes.

umm actually you have farm on your loadout so this is a commander and farm only 🤓

@@EludeWolf nice i guess. But commanders DMG while you use His ability is Close to non existing. And the ability is way to expensive and bad for me to wanting to use it. Maybe its a good ability for noobs when stuggling with the easy boss. But i personally rather use mecenary Base for the 20% dmg buff + ONLY 2.5K ability that is 3x more effective and has a way shorter cooldown. And If you honestly think they nerfed Commander to make the Game harder they literally just dropped consumables that make the game way easier. What ever the new commander sucks deal with it. You can feel the differenz way to much. the ability dosent even make up for it because its super expensive. It should be for free for the super long cooldown it has

@@Endlingline the ability is more for mid game, the dmg he does is true though lol non-existent. The only real nerf for the commander is the range, otherwise it wouldn't change much. The range needs to be at least 16 max level though.

@@EludeWolf from 55% firerate - 50% now. you also have a 10 secounds frame where you literally cannot use His ability so not just 5%- firerate but also -30% for 10 secounds everytime you try to Chain the ability. its way less then before and its noticable

@@Endlingline the main update to him was to stop chaining so you can use him strategical. That's why the main nerf is the range, I see ppl's points but I mean, this rework is just better. 55% to 50% isn't that bad of a nerf although it did decrease hundreds of dps cause of it. (I like the ability also but it is kinda useless late game. It's more of a support DPS which is good, I mean you can probably use it 2-3 times in end game depending on your DPS. It could possibly give an extra 1.5-2k dmg plus the hp per commander.)

Bruh the consumables should be definitely baned for this type of videos, it is just ruining all the fun, making the game no skill at all

Deserved nerf, commander has been a nearly uncontested OP support tower for YEARS its only contest was jester but it no longer stalls bosses so now its more balanced

@@FaultyMega unless you were using accel or gmini for every single game, not really. Sure, it was required for most special modes, but with the addition of engi and damage flags it kinda started to fall off. They started adding a lot of new spawner towers, which also reduced the use of commander in most loadouts. Jester (was) a way more consistent support tower too.

this update genuenly sucks, Commander never was supposted to spawn like military base , the buff it gives now are useless, it was supposted to be a support tower for all nearby towers for extra DPS now its just bad and every strategy for fallen, hc, special modes now are destroyed, the only 2 things this update have is the new model and the damage but the other things like the prices, the new hability that cost money , and the Place limit u have now make it horrible tower for support the team

I agree, They saw people wanted a rework of the tower. Devs then copied more of Tower battles commander then nerfed TDS commander. I do agree some aspects of commander did rightfully deserve nerfs, Like the placement limit, and maybe making it more expensive. But the Devs did both those things on top making Chaining practically impossible, Adding another ability that no one wanted. This is why I dont support tds anymore, There devs are just hell bent on making bad updates no one likes.

15k at max upgrade is so cheap omg! Wtf y’all complaining about that it’s expensive? It’s not that expensive to me! It’s good it’s 3 placement limits, otherwise I would get tired placing more max commanders with 15k max upgrade which isn’t even worth it..oh thinking about it, there would be too much lag! How does place limit affect support?? We mostly used only 3 commanders for firerate boost before the rework-😂I’m confused with the tds community because they say it shouldn’t be a dps tower, then they say it has only 3 limits..like, do you expect it to be a dps tower with more limits? 😂
