I love when you were talking about the stealerships. When I went from one lease car to another, and I knew what I wanted and they had it, it was the same thing…. Finance office… they printed enough paper to kill a forest. Then you wait in the showroom for hours. It’s such a scam. And from what you said it happens at all dealerships everywhere. These guys better get with a paradigm shift quick. My model 3 was delivered right to my house and the guy drove off the trade in… sight unseen!

Thanks for checking out the video! Haha - your comment about the paper is priceless! It’s crazy right? Wow. Sounds like you had a great Tesla experience as well. I was shocked at how easy and fun the experience was overall. I think all dealers need to take note and step it up to make the car buying experience better, or Tesla will come for all the business! 😄 Appreciate you! - Shelly

I just picked up my Model 3 about 2 months ago. My experience was a bit different. I was at the dealer a total of 25min. Most of that was checking out the car. It was on the charger and at 100%. I also had a trade in so I did have to sign some documents. The trade in part went somewhat smoothly. Most of the wait was from CarMax not giving them the payoff letter. Tesla rep allowed me to send them the one I got and was able to get the process moving along. Overall the buying process was great.

Interesting. I did everything through the app and picked up the car without signing anything. They just paired my phone and I was gone! Same thing happened to me tho. When I picked up my car, they were charging it and told me that they can release the car after 51%. AND, it was on my dime. lol. Is what it is. I'm still happy with the car and process.

That is interesting! Where did you pickup yours? Tesla is SO close to making the whole process easy and fun, but think of it like a tank of gas… have the thing loaded and ready to roll at pickup! Yeh it’s easy if you pay cash. Financing with Tesla sucks and having to go out and shop around on your own is a hassle. That was my experience. The Acura dealership I’ve worked with for years is always able to get me the best rate hassle free. I pay $500 over msrp on an mdx at 2.5% interest. Lowest interest on their website said 3.9. I did this all in 2 hours. I ordered my Tesla two days ago and I’m still waiting on 3 local credit unions since Tesla finance was asking 5000 down and 8% interest and I have 745 credit score.

  • @MrKlawUK

I wouldn't expect the car to be at 100%. Actually in the UK they changed their wording and now say they ship it with no more than 40% and they give you like 300 free supercharger miles to top it up later if you want.

That’s good to know! This was our first Tesla experience, and I would have equated the full battery to the a full tank of gas, which is industry standard. @@poisonandivy My Model Y 2021 LR was delivered to me at 4:00am Sunday on my driveway while I sleep too. Personally, I will never buy an EV which has less than 300 miles range. Model 3 LR has 358 miles which I think is the BEST. I had been driving many times between Los Angeles to San Jose, both 3 LR & Y LR only need to stop once to charge up to 95% , if you look at your energy app , you will know what your range will be, I am always pretty close with actual and projected range. I hope these help

i just bought a tesla and i will have to disagree with you all on time to purchase. and your video proved it. 7 plus hours. i had to wait weeks and an inventory vehicle was 4 days even when i was looking rt at it..... regular dealer walk in tell them your price take the test drive of your vehicle not a different vehicle (tesla no test drives of your vehicle) and tell them to have the paperwork ready..... so when you get back it is done and you are just signing and getting car detailed.... but even if you fall for the trap of a dealer it is still less than 7 hours and they are sooooooooooooo much more professional...... if you cannot tell i cannot stand a tesla dealership..... but i will by another because i like the car
