Came across your channel looking at how to renovate an older caravan. Just about to pick up an older model. We are both nearly 60 years old, never tired or had a caravan but so looking forward to it. Brilliant hack for the seat covers cushion ❤

the seat covers certainly improve the look, using velcro rather than glue would've made the covers removable for washing

Dead miffed that you didn't video the awning erection. One of our favourite pastimes on a caravan site, watching other campers struggle!! Looking forward to the caravan tour.

You want to see the mess I make of putting up my awning on my own. Its almost impossible. Needless to say, at present I am enjoying the extra light available without it.

Update: got the caravan 2 days ago and went to ikea and got some plain curtains in the same £12.50 a pair to recover the seats as you have done! 👍

So the lovely, if fake, wood look you hated, but the ugly cushions you thought "not too bad". Truly there are different views in the world.

I love the handles. I have just got a caravan which I haven't actually seen yet but my sister wouldn't have got it if it had been horrible. I love your handles and I will be nicking that idea. I can't wait to watch the rest. I started watching and then only remembered when my sister told me about the one she got for me....I am excited! If it turns out good I will post it either here or pictures on Instagram. Then you can see all the copying I did...no really I love the handles but have my own ideas. Having said that, I still want to see what you did! I am really enjoying this!

I think that maybe the nicest part of getting the caravan for y'all is that you can get rid of all those spare odds and ends from other projects gone!

Nice work on the caravan! How permanent is its location? If it's going out at any point are you going to shade the tires, erm, *tyres* (sorry, American... 🙄) to prevent UV damage? If it's not going to move again, it may be wise to put the frame on jack stands. If the tyres fail while the stabilizers are deployed they will likely be damaged; they aren't meant to support the weight. Nice renovation work! You mentioned the negative comments previously, but personally I love the color -- *colour*! 😉

I think lots of people just liked it as it was originally.

I take it all back when I said the original didn’t look like it needed changing. It looks so stylish, modern , bright and breezy. When you started painting the cupboards white I was exhausted just watching you because of the amount of time it would take to complete but it looks brilliant. Do another video of it all complete and what it looks like with the bed pulled out. Also would you when no family and friends are staying use it as an office and use the van just for the kitchen and bedroom?

I luv the look of the gray fabric as it really updates the van, however, I can't believe gluing the fabric will last any time at all. I'll be anxious to see if I'm right or wrong. Great caravan tho'..... wish it were mine!

Those cushions look bloody awesome. Mine are just foam slabs with fabric glued all around. Yours look to have a contour...good show. Sorry for my bad British typing.

That has turned out quite well. I'm not keen on painting a caravan interior but you made it work. Have you considered laying down pallets in the awning and boarding it out? I saw it on another caravan channel. It might be worth considering.

Looks epic, however I don't think glueing the covers was a good plan. What happens when they get dirty as indeed they will? If you are short on fabric and cannot make full covers, then wide elastic straps with buttons and buttonholes, or the dreaded velcro, would secure them well at the underside and enable them to be easily washed.

Such a massive amount of hard work put into this and it looks amazing. I’m slightly concerned that although the handles look great, I think they are going to get grubby fairly quickly.

Only downside of glueing the covers, is that you can't take them off to wash? Otherwise all looks great.

Told you they were nice. 😃😄 Great with tan. Curtains/drapes? What a super idea!! If the cushions have wood on the bottom, you could use a staple gun on the fabric (cloth) to the frame on the bottom to make it tight. I reupholstered several bits of furniture that way. Came out nice and tight. Looks great. You are genius, Miss Bee. Drapes are much cheaper than cloth or a reupholsterer. Your van came out awesome, though. Loved it. Could use drapes on the leather futon couch, after taping it together, too. Love the awesome awning. It looks screened in, is it? Soo clever, all of it. Love you two, am dying to see it all finished.

Love all that you have done!!!! The handles, cushions and colors.

Been watching for while now. Be you are such a Sweet gal. Not sure how to spell T name so just put T. You 2 make such a good couple. Always Smileing. A hint for the Sofa. Strip the tares with the Gray Duck tape. Then do the same thing on other end. Get the Laytex paint. Then Paint the whole Sofa. Let it dry good and enjoy it. I have done it and know it works. You can even paint on Material chairs. Be sure to let me know if it workes for you. Jane Green from America. Oklahoma City. Oklahoma. tacky cushions lets the whole decorating down. you could have tried a bit harder seeing as you don't do much else
