Satin black is top choice Mark, I would consider satin black the headlight surrounds as well (personal choice) with the shiney outer lip. Looks awesome nonetheless.

early 90s ,a fella came in for a roadworthy inspection on the most unusual WB ute ,magnum model by all accounts ,i vividly recall the most flat faced BMW looking alloys and the ridiculous money he paid for it ,near 17K in 1993 was massive ,never seen or heard off them since,yes satin black is spot on ,gloss black not so much ,wonderful Holden ute ,you should be very proud mate ,tip top

Ive had a bit of a problem getting that clean edge with the paint like you have done here. I will try to pull the tape the way you did. Is there a brand of masking tape which is best for clean edges?

Paint these days crap enamel quicker .acrylic the worst.Enamel off the gun your finished Just talking about a weekend paint job
