If you do Halo 2, I recommend using a Speedrun category as a rule. No Major Skips or Glitches. It would still allow for minor skips like the grenade jump on the second mission to skip the bridge.

The first clip you showed, that checkpoint took me 4 hours to beat. That level took me 18 hours. In comparison, I beat Halo 4 LASO in one sitting. Halo CE (GOAT) LASO is a beast. No speed run starts used, just pure brute force. Kudos on finishing it in 3 hours. I still get déjà vu years later. I’d like to hear your feedback not skipping the gravity lift part dude.

It makes me so happy to see you doing each level traditionally and just using your game and tactical knowledge to overcome the insane obstacles instead of avoiding them entirely with skips.

I remember when i played CE LASO solo two years ago and it was actually pretty fun besides the library. I still have Halo 2 LASO but then im done with MCC achivements.

Honestly halo 2 LASO played normally would be a real crazy video to watch since so much of the run is typically just skipping past it since the enemies are just plain absurd. And the other Halos aren’t really that bad when you’re just playing through them normally, since an overcharged plasma pistol is your best friend.

I think the take away from this video is that in order to beat LASO, Brave sir Remy ran away! 😂 Great job!

This was awesome to watch. I did LASO CE as well, after the update that added more skulls. I did use some skips though, but I want to do them without skips someday too. The Boom skull and Grunt Funeral made the explosions insane. You do make this challenge sound easier than it is though. Maybe I didn't utilise the Black Eye skull enough.

It’s more skillful to do it solo as intended, that’s why it took me over a year to do, it’s not as fun with help

My friend and I found a glitch to despawn every enemy on AOTCR by jumping off a cliff! This game will always be the GOAT.

Cursed Halo LASO of course. Now THAT should prove a significant challenge. Probably the hardest one to do in the series honestly just from sheer RNG of the D20 Grenades

Ayyyy the LASO grind begins. I had fun learning the strengths and weaknesses of each campaign. Did Halo 3 and 4 full co-op. Halo CE I only did the first two levels co-op but mission 3 felt impossible with co-op because of the first ship part. I did the rest of the game solo. All I have left is Halo 2 and I'm stuck on gravemind. Reach was a bit frustrating but not terrible and ODST was fun on LASO

I've played several games on their hardest difficulties over the years. Gears of War on insane, Call of Duty on Realism, State of Decay 2 on Lethal, Resident Evil on Professional, Halo on Legendary and DayZ on Official. For some reason, LASO is really intimidating to me and idk why lmfao

I like to leave a marine in the hog turret and when you get back to the gold elite on the way back up, the marine lights him up with the turret gun

ay yo. not that i am complaining, but i just noticed that you took the banshee towards the end in aotcr. Technically no skips means that you need to fight the covenant on the rock bridge and continue to the next elevator and go down and then climp up the pyramid structure. would have been fun to see you take down the wraith, ghosts, and shades plus the additional banshee (if it was not taken out earlier) along with the hunters at the top. But really enjoyed the vid.

I've done LASO on Halo 1, 2 and 3... Did a little bit of Halo: Reach LASO recently but didn't have the motivation to finish it.

The plasma nades emp shields in this game which is why grunt funeral is really good. However I don’t know why mcc makes it apart of the playlist when Grunt Funeral was a preorder bonus for Halo CEA in 2011.

I didn't want to add my comment because it's already sitting at 117 but I just have to say, the Grunt Funeral skull in Anniversary/MCC makes even a Normal playthrough feel like you're playing on Legendary.

A halo speed runner named burnt released a tool called the Halo checkpoint manager. In the software there’s a freecam feature.
