Good man Karol! Great to see you back. The Irish mind can't comprehend 35 euro for a fleece.

Awesome mate
Nice video, Karol. Very interesting, different from the British Isles sheep videos that I usually watch from you and The Sheep Game.
Great video Karl aye that heat is unreal am living in Australia 20 years and still not used to it 🤦♂️🤣👌
Waw what a place and what and experience for you mate 💪 looks hard work but satisfying

You will be right mate I did a few 350+ on lambs WA you will get use to them Steve New Zealand
Those sheep remind me of Shar pei dogs! Wrinkly little old ones! 😂❣️🐑🐏
🤣🤣🤣 your still degrees of being hot guys! Trust me the dry heat is much better than humidity when it gets hot! Good your into though! Will you be getting out and about looks at the farm shed and yard set ups and how they do it?

i worked the that factory that makes the Back Aid for a while, still wear the wool clothes Warries used to make
I'm a fluorescent shade of alabaster myself in Canada and prefer an iceberg anyday. Our max is usually around 35 where I live in summer but I melt at anything above 22. I can't sleep, can't eat, can't get enough fluids. Had heat stroke and heat exhaustion too many times when I was young playing baseball. I sleep with my window open in winter and it's the right temperature when my nose is stiff from the cold. Pretty nasty when you live in near desert conditions in summer. It's all what you grow up with I think. I don't know how your backs can maintain that!
That looks like really hard day. Nice to see your beautiful young lady. Hope you don’t get sunburned👍😊👍
Great video, comment for the algorithm to help the channel 👍.
LOL 30 degrees is an average temperature day. When you get 40+, now that s what we call hot, mate.

Great job on those merinos, Karol! I've heard they are a beast to shear, especially without nicks. I was reading about Merino shearing in New York state in the 1860s, and I'd guess it was the really wrinkly ones. Looks like you had some top-notch rousies too. Merino wool is a joy to spin and knit with. Does Merino really not fetch good prices in Ireland?

interesting you mention the heat type. hot and dry seems to be a better deal then humid and hot for working stock. How hot does it get in ireland in the summer? cheers for Canada

Aye the merino is good that way but they're bad for rearing lambs! I'll explain better in later videos. 😁
Thank God you don't have to deal with humidity as well. I used to live in the Washington, D.C. area (it was originally built on a swamp), and we get days of 37C and 90% humidity. The sweat wouldn't evaporate and cool you, and it felt like breathing through a damp sheet.

You may go a bit faster with one of those sprung harnesses. Are you in NSW or Victoria? I would just love to get my hands on some of that lovely Merino wool. Did you know that there was no way the King of Spain was going to oblige the British with some Merino sheep. So the starter flock was introduced via South Africa. Looks like you are enjoying yourselves in spite of the hard work, great adventure!

Hey bro one fact about the Marino sheep they actually come from Spain not Aussie even though Australians try to claim them like the Dingoes which actually come from some part of Asia.
Brings back memories of looking at counter and thinking is working lol and might need a road map to shear sum of those rams
