    This moped is awesome. So many features and extremely practical vehicle. I wish more e-bikes came with a lot of the standard features of a moped like horn and turn signals.

    congrats on the moped! This thing is freaking cool as hell. I could see my self riding this around Palermo in Sicily. I'd need the open face moped helmet with the leather goggles to complete the look tho!

    Haha for sure I definitely get those vibes 😁. I'll be swapping the battery out for a 72v which can hopefully give me better top speed lol

    I probably have a total different idea of awesome... Anyway, if you must ride, like you have to go to work and you cannot use public transportation 2 wheels cannot replace 4 wheels. Riding on 2 wheels in snow or, much worse, black ice is potential lethal. I have been looking into using one of my (proper) motorbikes (which I usually use to commute except for snow and ice) for everything and sell off my car. This winter we had 3 weeks with snow and ice, I have no death wish, so it was back to 4 wheels for the daily commute. Yet there is more. The other day I needed a new broom. Carrying a long item on 2 wheels safely is a challenge. Also if you have to attend a meeting, social event, etc. properly dressed (i.e. not jeans, T-shirt, sneakers) 4 wheels are to be preferred. My RT has sufficient space, but it is pain to pull off all your gear, swap boots for a pair of decent shoes and so on. Even more so when it is raining or snowing. My conclusion: no matter how much I dislike it, 2 wheels cannot replace 4 wheels. Yet 2 wheels are a lot of fun! By the way, when you are riding in freezing temperatures a bike with weather protection, heated grips, etc. is almost a must... I doubt the suitability of the T1S for this.

    For sure! Also depends on the city you're in but definitely get it from that point of view. These things can also avoid traffic in crowded cities and get to destinations a lot faster.

    Here in the UK it has to also have pedals like a cycle to be called a moped.

    Yea they require these to be registered and insured if they don't have pedals. Once they add pedals it bypasses those requirements lol. New York is weird

    In New York State, all you need to do is register this as a Class 2 Moped and have a regular drivers license to operate. These mopeds also come with a Vin.

    LOL 42 MPH and a speedometer that goes to 160 (MPH). That is a near-useless gauge and unless you plan to put rockets on it, it isn't going that fast anytime soon. That gauge is about as useless as 0-400 MPH on a normal car, only a tiny fraction is used.

  • @wmasonscooters

    @wmasonscooters

    5 ай бұрын

    because all our scooters use the same speedometer. we have escooters that go over 100 mph. thats why we use those. makes everything easy when sourcing parts for the moment. also the T1S goes to 50 mph. that one jb360 is using was sent with the T1 batttery with a low bms. that's why it tops up at 41 mph. also at the moment our speedometers have already been changed to digital so you dont need to worry about useless gauges anymore. you can check the new speedometer on one of our videos. a lot of already updated parts.

    there are no non- weatherproof electronics on this scooter. as you can see his was riding in the rain and nothing went off. all the electronics are rating at least IP65. so no problem with rain or harsh weather. you can even wash the scooter with a water hose.
