I call bullshit space Marines are still of the flesh. The base model t-800 is stronger than any astartes. This entire scenario he came up with is complete bulshit. He doesn't know anything about the Terminator universe and that is very very clear. That's like saying who's going to win Goku or Naruto with not even watching or reading dragon Ball z. And only knowing Naruto universe, this was horribly biased. The space Marines win by number alone. Equal numbers and i guarantee you the Terminators win. It's not like they can just go back in time to when 40k was still regular earth and kill the emperor or anything............ O wait......It's almost as if thats right up their wheelhouse

@@seanbutler2291 @seanbutler2291 A terminator can lift about 500kg, a Space Marine in his armor can lift around 5000kg and about 2000kg out of it. So no the Terminator is most definitely NOT stronger than an Astartes. A terminator is made of Titanium, a space marines power armor is made of super futuristic caramite ablative plates over adamantium and plasteel layers. The armor can withstand more impact strength than a terminator is capable of producing by far, so as long as the Space Marine is in his power armor the terminator can't really hurt him. Even the Space Marines bones are laced with Caramite making them stronger than titianium! What we know of the phased plasma rifles the future terminators use, they are nothing compared to the plasmaguns of the 40K universe. Terminator ones are a measly 40 megawatts whereas a 40K one injects hydrogen into a fusion reactor to generate the plasma shot and produces around 3000 megawatts of energy. And space marines can survive that. The phased Plasma weapon of the terminator world is about on par with a lasgun from 40K and they have a real hard time killing space marines You do understand that the Empower is basically an immortal God, and that even if they went back in time he is still the most powerful psychic being mankind has ever created and would just crush whatever was sent against him with his magical powers? Going back in time might rob the Emperor of futuristic weapons, but he is still an immortal god. He would see it coming and he would still be able to say open a vortex to the warp and suck the terminators into it.

That astartes will see a bulky naked man with 0 weapons cuz u can only travel through time with flesh, no exposed metal. The astartes will walk up to the terminator and promptly be told to hand over his shit. And when he refuses the Terminator will grab him and hold that man with a grip he cannot break and rip him into shreds. They have no emotion no fear, you cant reason with them, they do not get tired they do not stop they are terminators they are above the flesh and an astartes is flesh still. In the end the Terminator will collect the astarte's gear. And maybe even be able to integrate some of the armor into his own technology. 1. The effectiveness of the plasma pistol depends on the boiling point of the nanobots and the heat of the plasma as plasma can actually range anywhere from room temperature to 20k degrees or so. Plasma is a state of matter witba really wide range of heat depending on what elements make up the plasma. 2. Your scenarios of the terminator losing nanites over and over until it doesn't have any left requires it to stand there and let itself get shot center mask instead of just disappearing and reforming to avoid the shots and counterattacking. Even if the pistol is effective it would still take multiple shots and the T-3000 is very good at dodging. 3. If you're gonna wank the plasma pistols then its only fair to wank the T-800 plasma rifled as well and if we're doing that " Surface of the sun" crap which is bullshit cuz it would ignite the atmosphere then those plasma rifles would do more then leave scorch marks on the Ceramite

@Doven Ro Galus but they dealt with the Bloodtide threats before which was a sentient thing of grey goo nanobots . And that thing is a lot scarier than a T3000, and specifically the Bloodtide was burnt out of the way too btw. not an exact quote but: 'The Bloodtide was capable of taking a silver humanoid form with a luminous shape with a disturbingly serene expression on its face with deep, solid, blood red eyes. The body rippled and swirled and was immune to most weapons fire.' There was also the whole MAN of IRON point in 40K where they dealt with similar levels of Terminator like issues thematically but with super advanced weaponry compared to the now of 40k and anything Skynet has had. Melta weaponry would have done it due to Melta working on a subatomic level, the power weapon would have disrupted the solid matter of literally any of the 3 and helped cleaved through it making it harder for theT3000 to disperse. The Plasma gun should have also fucked them all up 'Plasma weapons utilize the same technology as found in plasma reactors and drives: hydrogen fuel is held suspended in a photonic state, typically in a sturdy flask or backpack container, before being fed into the weapon's miniature fusion core and energised into a plasma state. This plasma is then contained by powerful magnetic fields until the weapon is fired, whereupon it is ejected via a linear magnetic accelerator to form a bolt of superheated matter in appearance and temperature much like a solar flare (giving rise to the nickname "sun gun").' We can determine that a Plasma gun works by shooting literal heated plasma similar to shit found in the core of the sun. It would have vastly affected the magnetic forces of the T3000 and just melted the other 2 due to the heat that would produce btw as Hyrdogen based plasma is between 9727 C (10000K or 17540F) and 29727 (30,000K or 53540F) which even if we say it rapidly cooled say in the span of a like 3 seconds once shot; those things land in under a second meaning it would still at lowest be in the 6618+ C ranges of heat more than enough to melt off some necron wannabes. Plus I'll just say this fact is Space Marines kill psykers and daemons of the warp even when those things are actively trying to kill said space marines. The Warp has some absurd levels of power, even for it's weakest of users/denizens, any time traveling mega machine group that couldn't have killed 1 kid in the 80's plot or not. Majorkill has been wrong before and referring to him as someone credible in these things is just bad form Dov. Saying a T3000 would rival a primarch is very very very uninformed.

Are we not counting Meltas, multimeltas and melta bombs you know, the "zappy, explody microwave machine". Also thunderhammers aren't just a big hammer. They they have an energy field that literally deatomises what it hits the same goes for pretty much all power weapons. Or Gravity weapons. Which would FUCK a T-3000. I mean yeah its a fair fight and Tyrone didn't have those weapons (except the thunderhammer). But if there are other marine corpses. At least one of them would have had a melta charge or weapon. And space marines fight skynet on acid (necrons). ALSO Salamanders fought a reanimated hive of the men of Iron (terminators esentially). So Tyrone would have figured out it was a man of iron pretty quick, and ordered a bombardment on his location.

Yeah I was like, "Why the fuck does it have plasma rifles!?" Also, following that, WHY THE HELL WOULD THE TERMINATOR ATTACK IN A SITUATION LIKE THAT TO BEGIN WITH!? It makes no sense! It knows those weapons are a threat as he said in the video. 1. If the Marine isn't the target, and is clearly armed with weapons the T-800 considers a threat, why would it risk it's mission fighting a pointless and one-sided battle? It would just say a few things to the dude (maybe directions to the nearest place it can get clothes) and walk away! 2. If the Marine is targeted for termination, the T-800 still knows that the guys weapons are a problem for it and still would not likely engage him! It would either go off and find weapons that would kill the Marine, or chum it up with the Marine and then take his gun when he lowers his defense! I'm sorry this video agitated me! It felt like very little thought was put in to it, and felt like the guy was more focused on making jizz jokes and what not.

I think you are forgetting something here, power weapons, like the thunder hammer, don't just destroy a target with the concussive blast, they are also described as disrupting molecular bonds. This means that the T-1000 would be pulverized by the thunder hammer, without being able to reform, as its molecular sturcture would be torn apart. Similarly, the T-3000's individual parts would also suffer from this effect. It could be argued that the thunder hammer also has a magnetic part to its energy field, which could increase its effectiveness against the T-3000, which has a strong magnetic fields as one of its listed weaknesses.

To my knowledge, the Terminators' insistence on walking menacingly is part of Skynet's demoralisng tactics. Think about it: the damned thing is walking up to you slowly. You throw everything you have at it. You burn away its exterior, you blow it up and you collapse a building in top of it. And the damned thing just keeps walking. Humans used similar hunting tactics in prehistoric eras: They would literally walk their prey to death. Since humans don't have fur, we can easily cool ourselves by sweating, meaning we can run fast *AND* maintain the speed for far longer than any other prey animal. The prey would collapse of exhaustion, while all the humans did was literally just having a jog. Also, good analysis, but it always saddens me when a Salamander is killed. They are cool bros by 40k standards.

It probably isn't going through ceramite anyway, but at the end of the day, T1000 can just turn into liquid and go into any orifice and weak spot it could find (not even mentioning T3000 who seems to be capable of even phasing through matter).

Frank Teryngel True. Would be interesting to see a Space Marine get hentai’d by a T-1000 Also, Genesis shows the T-3000’s phasing attack more like turning into small grains of metal then shooting each of those grains through his target (that’d make sense since, if I remember correctly Arnold got fekked by this attack). Either way I don’t know how a regular Space Marine could beat a T-3k. I’d argue a power weapon could help since those have a weird energy field thingie around their blade or hurty bit, but even then it didn’t really do that much damage when Arnold used a similar piece of equipment

But yes, it did have some effect on him, but it's clear that they were super small (otherwise they wouldn't be able to pass through chasis of T800 without causing critical damage). At any rate T3000 should still be vulnerable to some temperature, it's just that it's probably much higher than what space marine's flamethrower could offer, but some other thermal-based weaponry could potentially damage T3000. But at that point we need to compare temperatures and we just don't have those stats (worst case scenario: T3000 could handle anything, best case scenario: T3000 could be eventually destroyed by sustained fire of multiple lasguns). Hey, fun fact about heat and fire, it fucks with magnetic fields, and to no small degree either. I'm not sure the proper Curie Temperature (The Temp at which no magnetic field can exist) for a magnet of whatever power they're using the the T-3000, but it's (probably) less than direct Promethium contact, which I don't know of the temperature either. This is because magnet, and the magnetic fields they create, rely on a relatively orderly polarization of their molecules, which is why magnets have polarity. This is also why you can make a magnet with a magnet and an object affected by it (like the old paperclip thing everyone does when their in primary school), because you can polarize the paperclip using the stable magnetic field. High temperatures are really just very fast moving molecules and atoms (high entropy), which easily disrupts the high order (low entropy) systems of molecules that magnets, and the fields the generate, rely on. There can exist no magnetic field without something to generate them, and that thing, even an electromagnet, has issues with high heat. With our paperclip example, it's fairly crude, only requiring a handheld lighter, or even simply a few minutes to demagnetize, but even extremely high power magnets will buckle and weaken against high heats. So while I have no expectation that you, or anyone without the high end of high school physics or chemistry would just know and simply apply. While our man Tyrone did not have a magnetic weapon, he did have a very powerful 'Anti-Magnet' weapon. In my opinion, Tyrone would have won this after the flamer blast, while probably not instantly, Space Marines are smart, and he'd be able to put two and two together before his flamer would get shattered, because at that point the T-3000 would be 'staggered', or at least as close as you can get to staggering a cloud of dust. Edit - While on the topic of things that destroy magnetic fields, plasma also has a pretty strong magnetic effect as well, although I'm less well versed to opine as to what exactly the effect would be. Call it homework for the reader. Edit 2 - I mention earlier that the Curie Temperature is probably less than 1000C, but even if it is much higher due to sci-fi shenanigans (it usually lies from somewhere around 600 to about 800 degrees), that is a temperature where *NO* magnetic field can exist. Even if a temperature doesn't reach the Curie Temperature for our Terminator Metal, it will still do significant damage to the magnetic field.

"Most Terminators are slower than humans" T-800 in Terminator 1 is nearly able to catch up with a reversing car going at high speeds, the T-1000 is able to keep up with a Moped temporarily. It's still not really revealed how Skynet was defeated in the original timeline, but the reprogrammed Terminators kind of suggest that maybe some units were turned against Skynet. Yeah the screwattack video's a bit dumb when you realise the T-800 could just identify the weakness around Murphy's face and shoot there or just flank round which is probably another option. The future plasma weaponry might also pose a threat to Ceramite.

Another opportunity to plug SM Stirling's T2 Trilogy of novels. Oh how I wish the movie franchise would have based the later sequels on these. Some of the points made about T800 units- Skynet considers the value of them as infiltration units, so to blend in T800's operate below their maximum speed and agility to preserve the organic tissues. Also, due to Terminators coming from the future war, a quirk they exhibit during a pursuit is 'walking' being effectively stealthy movement.

They dealt with the Bloodtide threats before which was a sentient thing of nanobots. And that thing is a lot scarier than a T3000, and specifically the Bloodtide was burnt out of the way too btw. This was in The Hunt For Voldorius book. Now not an exact quote but: 'The Bloodtide was capable of taking a silver humanoid form with a luminous shape with a disturbingly serene expression on its face with deep, solid, blood red eyes. The body rippled and swirled and was immune to most weapons fire.' The Plasma gun should have also fucked them all up 'Plasma weapons utilize the same technology as found in plasma reactors and drives: hydrogen fuel is held suspended in a photonic state, typically in a sturdy flask or backpack container, before being fed into the weapon's miniature fusion core and energised into a plasma state. (after all makes sense that one of those blowing up from a bad shot would stand a high chance of killing something) Force Weapons disrupt matter they go through. If the grenades were melta grenades ... well Metla weaponry fucks shit up at due to sub atomic agitation meaning nanobot boy would have be ripped up like he had been hit by something trying to burn his atoms apart. I don't think he took into account the fact that bolter rounds aren't just bullets; they're high explosives. They're not just going to blow 'chunks' away, they're going to explode, and blast pieces away. Also, the plasma weapons, according to the canon of the movie Terminator, is 40W. That's diddly. Ceramite is made to resist heat, and the average toaster is 1.1kW. For the Australians, 1,100 is more than 40. Almost 30 times as much as 40. Also, the thunder hammer isn't just a big hammer; they are energy weapons that vastly amplify impacts. A Tyranid Carnifex is like a living MBT (that's Main Battle Tank, to Australians). In the right hands, a thunder hammer will smash right through that armor, and I'm pretty sure a strong Salamander qualifies as the right hands.
