In a game where quinn literally can't do anything to defend against simultaneously pushing both sidelanes, the heralds came up with the brilliant plan of picking 4 heroes that don't hit towers and then having 3/5 of their team go mid and feed quinn a 7 minute bloodstone. It's very impressive that they brainstormed a strategy that's significantly worse than the default 2-1-2 setup

Their decision making couldn't have been much worse, but that's par for the course for heralds. If a single one of them had picked Viper, strong laning heroes or strong pushing heroes like brood, lone druid or lycan it would've been over

They also could have ratted him like crazy. Bristle has no stuns, all they had to do was push all lanes at once, and wherever he TPS to defend, they immediately tp out. But they fed him to a point he could two shot them, and that was gg

4 women 1 man didnt help (unless some were voice changing rats, one sounded sus). Its rare for women to play dota and even rarer for them to be good at it. In all my years of dota i've only played with maybe 50 women who made themselves known via mic, and only a few actually carried my ass. Unsurprisingly she was raging more than the rest of us at our stupid moves, which was funny and kind of felt pride in someone else for the first time.

@@stuart2941 Clinkz built a silver edge. It was barely relevant for one fight and then quinn bought a windwaker.

There are so many approaches they could have had to this: a line up of crazy split pushers, a hardcore anti-carry lineup with like doom viper and ursa to guaranteed kill anyone, or a mid trilane that could actually threaten a kill at lvl 1 for just approaching the wave. What they went with feels like something in the middle of those but doesn't manage to do any of them. Still, that's what makes heralds heralds I guess.

The disabled lane will not spawn creeps. But you can still attack the tower if you can go past the backdoor protection if I remember it correctly.

The herald strategy is wrong from the beginning.Tri lane does not get u advantage,it’s a throw or it would’ve been the norm in pubs. So what they should’ve done is just to put a viper mid passively clearing the wave meanwhile put 2 siege heroes such as lycan,visage,np,brood at each other lane.There’s no way against such pushing 1v5 no matter how good a player is

Actually in a real 1 v 3, tri lane makes that lane completely unplayable if they are using lock down heroes that will zone you from the lane. These are just heralds and they picked zero lock down power for their tri lane 😂

@@Delimon007 if ur opponents play tri lane against u in pub,just put a kotl 4 in that lane and pick a jungle farm hero. That’s exactly why tri lane only exists at the very early dota1 meta. And tri lane was actually the norm in pubs until ppl figured 2,1,2 is better and more consistent

AM is very good at split pushing, his mana burn can slow BB to a halt, and his blink will force BB to buy Orchid, not to mention BB at early game before having Bloodstone will be constantly having low mana meaning more damage for mana void. AM can also get Abyssal to lock down BB. And a free farming AM is a very fast ticking time bomb. Try to face yourself in the mirror before you mock others.

The 3 mid was a good idea. They just needed to not actually fight him and just try to prevent him from getting CS. The Heralds should have picked Doom Lich and Disruptor for the mid. They should have picked Clinkz and Nature's Prophet for the side lanes to maximize their pushing and rating potential. If they just pushed everywhere and refused to fight him they could have won.

Next time, please make it a 1v9 game. 1v5 is too easy for #1 player. He has to have 4 toxic team mates, where each of them is trying to feed the opponent. This game wasn't realistic at all. He had wards available. Camps were free to farm. Dusts and gems were available too. In a real game, a toxic player feeds himself, gives away wards, gems, and rapiers, and tells the opponent team where his team mates farm. The herald team lacked gold because of not having enough enemy heroes to kill.

Honestly props to the heralds, they werent doing that bad. For being the lowest rank they still knew to split push, buy silveredge and vessel to counter, going trilane mid so other 2 can farm freely. Some of these things not even divines do because of ego blinding them.

Not literally but yeah that is not exactly a dignified comparison anymore. There r modded bots but with stuff like new player mode and far better tutorials I don't think we will be seeing better bots soon.

BANNING Bristleback LITERALLY gets me from Herald to Divine

The strat should have been 1 top 1 bottom, 1 jungle and 2 that can clear wave mid. Super greedy and overwhlem with networth and splitpush. Jungle isn't good in 5v5 but in a game like this, nature prophet can push any lane and BB can't catch every push. Also always have a TP scroll This is who we use to win Low prio games way back when people use to 5 man mid

You absolutely do not want to put multiple heroes mid. You're only feeding quinn and taking pressure off the sidelanes. If I was coaching the heralds I would tell them to pick Kotl mid whose job for the entire game is to mirror quinn and spam Q on the wave from a mile away, two zoo heroes whose job is to occupy the 2 lanes quinn isn't in and push hard, and two CC heroes like Bane and Shadow Shaman whose job is to support the push strat in the early game, and then once getting sufficient levels in their skills they follow quinn around and keep him chain stunned to waste his time and prevent him from tping to defend his rax

@@dm9910 The 2 heroes mid wouldn't lane in the traditional sense. Only spamming long range wave clear in case Quinn push early. Kotl like you said and maybe a lina. The other heroes also need to be good at hitting towers. In this game, pretty much only Clinks could hit towers. Also, their lack of tp in the beginning when Quinn still couldn't 2 shot them was a mistake. Late game, he did so much damage it didn't matter, but in the beginning there's no way he kills you during tp channel

There's only one. . . just meteor hammer split push, have 2 people with strong CC so they can't do jack, and some mana burners so they still can't do jack and you win. You don't NEED to know who they are playing with this strat either. It's 1 v 5 FFs.

That was a faster W than most turbos...

As soon as I saw the title, I knew it would be solo bb. It’s the one of the few if not the only hero that can do this consistently.

Yup, Phantom Assassin, Antimage, Silencer, Phantom Lancer, Centaur, Huskar, Slark, Razer and Luna can all do this, with varying item reqs. Morph+Meepo+Naga can do it with more skill. Lone Druid, Prophet and Lycan can also do some of that.

Even when losing mid as 3v1, heralds still don't want to abandon mid. That is peak herald.

This gives me PTSD over a game 12 years ago where 4 enemy players disconnected minute 1 and we still lost lol (with me helplessly playing AM attempting to get some farm while my team chainfeeds 1 by 1)

It seems Bristle would be a pretty poor choice but then you forget how poor Herald decision making is, feeding Bristle making him faceroll everything. I'd have guessed Quinn would pick a proper carry and assassinate ppl then be able to easily go 1v5. Quinn put all-in on Heralds making extremely poor decisions by picking Bristle and it paid really well. Dying to Bristle passive for no reason is a classic herald move, especially team cooperation to wipe together.

You should do this with every rank 1v5 against Crusaders, Archons, Legends, Ancients

3v1 mid against a bristleback is potentially the single most herald idea I've seen and I'm two minutes in.

Had i not seen newsham lose, i would have been very sure that quinn would have won. i was only fairly sure

Why they went 3 people mid is beyond me. Just put a Shaman mid who can perma stun him with E and stop him from farming and someone else who can farm with impunity due to that. The other 3 people one top one bot to free farm and one jungle for more free farm since he can probably take their jungle too. 3 free farmers = gg but hey it's heralds. . . Edit: By that last statement, I meant that they can't farm for jack so I dunno if that would have even worked 😂
