Met Suzi in 76 at the age of 10 quite by accident. We were on a bike ride and ran out of water so decided to knock on the door of a big house in Stapleford Abbots in Essex, Suzi answered the door! She invited us in for some lemon squash and we all filled our water bottles before we left.

She had a huge pad in Great Waltham, just up the road from us (Broomfield, Chelmsford), for a number of years. She often used to go to the bakers on The Parade, Broomfield Road; my wife saw her there many times in the queue! I think she moved on from there about five or six years back.

You can't say anything bad about Suzi, she's 72 and still rocking.

Can she still can the can? Damn right she can! Keep on rocking Suzi Q.

I was 22 in 1973, I thought it was 72, anyway I was cleaning my car with the radio on & right for the opening thumping riff, then ripping voice, I stopped cleaning & turned up the radio which was already loud.. man what a feeling, I’m glad she’s still alive & Rockin.. 🤟 I’m 71 this year.

I have always admired Sue. Recently I saw a documentary about her. She struggled to get to the position of fame that she had . Although for a long period of time in her home land USA she got little recognition. She did well in Europe . She influenced Joan Jett and many other women rockers . A true rock Empress.

I live in the US and no one knows who she is. She had a hugely popular small role on a television sitcom in the 70’s called “Happy Days”, and she had a huge hit song in 1979 with “Stumblin’ In”, otherwise people give you a blank look if you mention Suzi Quattro.

Suzi is IRREPLACEABLE . My sister had a Album of .. The Pleasure seekers . It was great. She was 5 years older than me. This would be around 67 - 68 ? When I noticed it... as a kid. It Rocked . So... I've loved her ever since I became a teen . I started getting every album I could, plus... ordered them through Co-op record store from England . She Still is just "TOP NOTCH" . watch her show ... "Suzi Quatro the Bass line" just excellent, plus... "Sunday"... she plays the piano on that show . Much Respect to this BEAUTIFUL(inside and out) WOMAN . 💞🤠🖖

Had an 8 track tape of Suzi Quatro back in the 70's still have it.

She was a regular at IOM TT back in the 70`s and what a brilliant act.

Good to see her still performing... I met her back in the early 80s..at a charity do in Butlins among other celebrities..Derek Chapman..and more. I was teaching them all to ride Honda Trikes... She and her husband of then, came up and chatted. Really calm nice couple..chatted for ages..and she was good on the trikes..too Get up and go lady...and very down to earth.. Yup, we are all getting on..but she still has that magic..👍 Simon a brit 🇬🇧 in Spain 🇪🇦

I remember seeing her at the Top Rank Suite in Cardiff as one of the support acts to Slade. I think it was in December 1972 before this song was in the charts. The other support band was the great Thin Lizzie and likewise just before their breakthrough single, Whiskey in the Jar. A bloody great night.

Hey, I was 12 in 1973 as well. Suzi was huge when I was a kid. Remember her guest appearances in "Happy Days" as Leather Tuscadero? Maybe it's time to ditch the leather pants though??
