I want to share my story, my name is Axel and i come from Harlem NYC. I was introduced to the lord at a the young age of 21 when i was at my breaking point, i was taking a stroll downtown to relieve myself until i had heard of the lord. Three men introduced me into the local Christian group meet, i was reluctant but joined in, ever since then my life had changed for the better. Praise the lord.

I remember, listening to Andre crouch in a public library with earphones on my ear. First time I heard him the song, another song they almost took me out to library, Gibson Ann Evers dental to getting loud and library with brewery and would give me calm down, bring down the volume and I would it would just come right back stronger and stronger. Thank God for Jesus. Parents teach your children if you don’t know how to gear them to Christ mascot help you I’m 65 and if I didn’t know him, I would not be alive.

He is up there rockin it in heaven.

I have not cried in a long time revisiting Couch just burst my tear sac especially in these death filled days of God knows what is killing the human race.Trust your soul is at eternal peace Andre. You were and still an inspiration from my youthful years.

I remember my mom listening to his music when I was a lil girl, his music hit your soul, body, and spirit. I know Andre with Jesus right now....Praise the most high for giving us a change to have him here with us on Earth

When a new Christian in the Jesus movement 1971 we went to church but it was very traditional and we sang hymns which was okay and great but all of a sudden Andre exploded on the scene and we were never the same. We had somebody who expressed Our Generations fervor passion and love for Jesus in a way that was as expressive as this x hippie was, and this white girl started listing to gospel music from my black brothers and sisters all the way back to the 19 hundreds. I fell in love with Mahalia Jackson and truly understood what she sang about from a Christian perspective. She helped me understand the heartache of black people in a way I never knew before. Most of my albums were from black gospel there after, until white people started getting it. My daughter sent this to me. She woke up singing it. She grew up with Andre.

That woman can play the tambourine so well!!!

Blessed by this Classic "Nobody Can Do Me Like Jesus". Brother Crouch took Gospel Music to Another Level, All Good 👍😊❤️.

Today, nobody sings Gispel like Andrea! Only Jesus do us like Jesus.

I'm 30 and I like the traditional gospel like this. Prolly will never see nuttin like this again.

As soon as America, or the world in general, realize that nobody can do us like Jesus, we will see a change in the way we prosper and walk in His goodness and grace. Andre always had the epitome of a Groove going on, whether at a concert or when we kept bumping into him and the band at Airports. Andre, Sandra, Billy and all the rest WERE my and Warnke's Friends. It would get a lot of people watching on wondering what in the world? A happening group of Folks who WALKED in a Groove, jumping up and hugging and loving on an overweight whatever Mike would be dressed like at the moment and a rangy Mountain Cowboy, doing some sincere and Joyous Jubilating. We did a Church Night with them at Lamb's Chapel one night down by Times Square, and the whole inside was one Body moving with One Spirit in Andre''s infectious Joy. And the Joy was Real and True. When they were On for Jesus, they were On IN Jesus. Afterwards, Billy Maxwell led me down Broadway to 7th looking for some place to eat. There were a bunch of beautiful women handing outside some Club filling the sidewalk. They started calling out "Hey Cowboy, where you going Hon...?", "I love Cowboys" and whatnot. Being around 23 or so and mostly of sound mind, I told Billy to "Hold up a second" but he reached back and grabbed my arm, saying "C'mon Man!" and pulled me along as that crowed of beautiful women were still pouring it out. I told him I just wanted to talk with the Ladies, not get in any trouble. Billy told me "Those weren't ladies. They weren't women!" Welcome to New York. (Quick learning lesson on New York for me.) Billy didn't scold, he just laughed. It was kind of like that Crocodile Dundee movie a decade before it came out. By the way, you ought to listen to this again and listen specifically to the pocket Billy and Andrew build for this whole presentation. Billy wasn't half the drummer then that he is now, but it's easy for anyone to wind up gaining weight after 41 years. I Know Andre is with our Redeemer in Person and my issuing him a Blessing right now is superfluous except for my benefit, but those of us who Know Jesus WILL be able to lift up our Worship of our King in Perfection one of these times soon. And I CAN Thank the Lord for the Talent, friendship, Love and Joy those Brothers and Sisters Shared through Jesus. And THAT still lives on thanks to these recordings. Thanks for posting this...
