I'm admittedly bummed that I didn't go with my gut instinct & buy bitcoin few months back when it was $20k - $25k range. is it too late to get in and make profits? i have set aside $450k to get fully invested this year

i don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations

I'm overall outperforming a lot of assets by holding Bitcoin and a few other top crypto altcoins. When my percentage goes down it goes down about double that of the s&p100/500 but when it goes up it goes up like 5 times the S&P rate.

Anything can be money (tulips for example) but whatever is selected as money, as time progresses, we see its characteristics and whether it's a good form of money or a bad form of money. I like the freedom aspect of bitcoin, I am not convinced this “new” currency will solve all our problems. Most people are jumping on the bandwagon for selfish reasons and short term profits. I would much rather see a bitcoin that resonates with underlying tangible qualities such as free-speech, civil liberties, economic justice and transparency. In an open market this should be an aspiration for all to obtain.

Government loves ANYTHING block chain. Any transaction you make is logged and saved forever. All they need is your wallet# which they could find easily if they wanted and you have nothing hidden. The people saying the government hates block chain either have no idea about it or are the ones promoting it, trying to make it go higher for a profit.
