You can install what is called a bleeder run across the road or trails. Basically a French drain that crosses the road to prevent runoff from continuing downhill. The hill will work, but that is a lot more dirt.

We have some similar issues, obviously you want to build up the road, but it might be worth creating some ditches either off to the side, or that go through the timber to route it off of the road. We have lots of issues and since water always wants to take the path of least resistance, so creating something for the water to use instead of the roadway should help. Depending on how much water runs down from the house, you might even consider creating a small metal bridge over a ditch that goes across the entire roadway so that it never makes it down to the bottom. Hopefully that helps you some

Florida is known for sink holes of all sizes. We had one at my last house that opened up over and over for decades. It always remained small though. As for those batteries, they caught my eye as well. What was shown is the European models, they are doing a redesign for the American models. No ETA on those yet.

@@TKCLit destroyed a boat storage building at the beach that was also destroyed during Hurricane Michael. Have a friend who had his boat stored there and it sustained some damage. A house just down the street from us was just recently rebuilt from Hurricane Michael and had the entire roof removed and their new pole barn destroyed. Very sad to see such damage and destruction. I am thankful all we had for damage was tons of tree limbs and leaves down here.

Like some of the others, -7 this morning and about 8" of snow, wind chill projected to be in the -15 to -20 range. I once had a similar water issue, much smaller in scale, and I buried a perforated pipe about 6" below the grade, extended it 8 feet out on each side and covered it with pea gravel and then 53bs. You could still do the slight berm, with the french drain on the high side?

It's not meant for dirt, you'd wear out the blades and possibly the bearings. A tiller would be a better option for taking care of ruts.
