The tropical humidity is no joke. I grew up in the Carribean and even when my hair was relaxed, the minute I was out of the salon with AC...Blow out with curls? 🤨 Where?!?! 🤣🤣🤣 It's so humid that eco styler did not even leave my hair crunchy!

You need the right stylist at Ulta. My daughter found 2 stylist that did her hair great. Also the hair lasted. No heat damage. But we live in MD.😂😂

I know it’s been a while but any way you remember which Ultas+ stylists your daughter went to? I desperately need a blow dry and trim but my natural salon doesn’t use direct heat 😭

I also have high porosity 4C hair and I know exactly what you mean when you said that your hair would turn into a fro just going in the backyard. I now know which products to use to maintain a twistout style for at least a good day before it starts turning! My hair has to stay in protective styles, twists, because it loves humidity and turns into a fro at every chance, but it is growing. I want to try that WOW stuff to see if it would last for a couple days. I have learned so much watching your videos!

Thank you so much first of all but yes I totally feel you. I feel like the weather is a hugeeee factor in how my styles turn out. That’s why lately I’ve been protective styling a lot just because I don’t find it worth it. But I recently tried a wash and go and really enjoyed the results and how long it lasted !

The Ulta Beauty Salon is my back up when my regular hairstylist is booked. I just went and got a beautiful silk press and much needed trim. For reference I live in TN and the weather has been in the 90s and high humidity. 5 days later my silk press is still fresh

obsessed with that ulta makeup look :)

I straighten my hair with a flat iron called Ultron perfect steam. I am from the Netherlands, I think they sell it over there too. Because the flat iron put in moister in my hair it does not attract more moister of the air, so it helps my hair not to frizz up. Maybe you can try it too. I like how your hair turned out. On myself I prefer a Silk press. Love your video's🤗❤️

@@cfoster6804 It is, but I tested that one too. Because my friend has looser curls like a 3b for her it worked better than for me. I have 4a and b I guess and the hotter it gets the straighter the hair. You can go higher with heat on the Utron one. 1 or 2 slow passes was enough to get it silky straight on the highest heat setting

Ive always wanted to do this, I saw this lady do it one time and I havent figured it out what I want to do

Was this.the Ulta on Biscayne by 135th St? I got my hair done there a couple years ago and I loved the results. I feel you on the humidity down here though; one of the reasons I don't get blowouts often. Love your do though; Miss Paula did a great job!

I have natural hair I go to the beauty schools and it’s only $25 and it gets it way straighter or smoother than what this lady did to your hair unless that’s the look you wete going for im not sure They put my hair in rollers then they use flat iron my hair is way curlier and maybe a little thinner etc but long like yours Next time I’ll d do hair school your saved money fir even a Better outcome if uou want

It wasn’t supposed to be a silk press tbh. I went there for a blow out and style. She used the iron to trim my hair but we were not going for straightened hair or a silk press
