All in honesty, when I first heard this song (And I was 8-10 at the time), I was a bit shocked hearing it. But now that I'm older, I actually understand the message and like the song. True, it's not the Miley most people knew as Hannah Montana and all that jazz, but this was gold.

@@lea.4279 disney would pressure her into work and be pretty everyday which gave her anxiety and panic attacks.... it led her to have body dysphoria since she was also hannah that made her didn’t feel like who she was.... also her sexual awakening hit so that’s another reason why she wanted to leave disney.... now she’s free with the music and reputation she has without a disney contract :))

Miley's fans defend her, and Miley's haters hate her. To be honest, people misunderstand. She has changed, and right now it's not for the good. I don't really want to hate or be mean, but to put it truly she has just been warped into money and fame. I understand that it is hard to resist fame and fortune when it is at your finger tips, I'm sure that every celebrity feels an adrenaline rush when they get on the stage and hear people call out their name. My point is, that sometimes we get a little bit carried away and forget the more important things like music. The society is overwhelming and with this kind of generation it is hard to stand up to it, and so Miley just did what a lot of people would do. She tried to blend in. With all this booty stuff and inappropriate things going on, its only natural that the famous pop stars and singers would get trapped into it too. Its not Miley's fault, its not anyone's fault. It's just that the way she displays things isn't a good influence, and that's only because she didn't have a good one to follow up on. That's what made her this. Not maturity, not change, it actually had nothing to do with Miley. Just clearing that out for a few fans and haters. It's not really Miley, it's the fame and fortune. It happens, and what's important is what your going to do about it. The reason people hate is because she hasn't done anything about it. I think my work here is done...

I do love how people think she wont grow out of this stage in her life.lol. she changed from being her old self to how she is now. like most girls, she will probably decide to grow her hair out again, and she may gain a more mature look later down the road. the person she is though is a great one. she has good look on life when it comes to important matters. She is still the same miley, just showing a different angle and living a wild carefree life. doesnt mean that's not going to change. I mean, my hair is half purple and teal(cruella style) and I wear colorfull/patternfull jeans and shirts, and i will switch up the colors and life my own version of a carefree life. that doesnt mean I'm gonna keep the colors and same outfits when I'm 30! How I dressed and acted like from 10 compared to now is quite different and so will it be in another 10 years. And miley has changed and who's not to say she wont change again(for the better). Just a thought of mine.lol
