Scoop it up right there lol
Always love to see storm content!
Reid might be THE classiest player, so this is the perfect deck for our hero to wield.
Got to love that you're still seeing people support some variations of storm. Or at the very least some storm style strategies. If this is red one thing I'd suggest is check out the old dark petition style decks. Might not be as good in the modern meta game but the card is still halfway decent as a one to two of now one to two of now I think.

@tealbaron2808 Yeah I know just saying it feels more like the car has fallen out of favor recently.
Narset parter of veils or Hullbreacher could be a worthy sideboard include for matchups vs Blue draw effects like Mystic Remora and Ancestral Recall
I still love MTG but I don't really consider myself a player anymore, just a fan. We met a few times over the years. The game has passed me by in many ways. I still own and play vintage storm on modo, as my sole remaining collection -- digital or paper. I'm guaranteed to be challenged and have fun. Thank you for the video.
You had me at "Reid Here"
In M4 G1, is there an argument for getting Underworld Breach instead of Mox Sapphire with a view to going off next turn, with Lotus in the bin and Brain Freeze in hand?
Oh the salt M1G2 for Remora!
Coul have Beseeched for a Ritual before Yawgmoth's even though you didn't need to.
Reid why didn't you start with the established list? Grid duress package is outdated and so are the wheels.
Is this like your first time playing against mystic remora? That was awful play round 1... You just wait for it to die. You are under no pressure

Not sure you were paying attention. Necro skips his draw step, his opponent can keep it around for at least 3 further turns. At which point it's likely Reid has already lost or is too far behind to win.

It was very painful to watch it honestly. Reid is top notch. There is an argument in his defense of high risk, high reward. The odds just didn’t tilt his way. There is a world where he was doing the right line. Today just wasn’t that world.

i don't think waiting around was the move there you don't develop at all while your opponent does playing into it allows you to draw with necro, at least you are developing and eating some of their answers through the remora looking back on it opponent even has lurrus. so... yeah

Also the U/W Lurrus deck plays 4 main deck copies of Lavinia which Reid’s deck list just can’t realistically beat. Sitting around doing nothing is not a realistic plan.

I also would have waited for it to die. Necro doesn't hurt that bad. Just try to hit land drops and pay 1 or 2 life here or there to keep the lands flowing. It's also possible to build up enough to cast one spell per turn by paying the tax.
