Analytics are for team management. It’s up to the fan to decide how much of it they want to consume

I disagree, celtics win because mazzula taught these guys how to have a winners mindset. The whole team is ultra talented however you needed a coach who can guide these guys to a championship. Meaning detailing and tuning these guys into a complete team. The analytics help these guys perform in tiptop shape.

Analytics destroyed sports as entertainment. No heart in the game anymore. No heroics and rising to the moment. What made sports entertaining was risk and who wanted it more. Now it’s just pure algorithms and formulas and avoiding risks at all cost. Sports are so extremely boring now.

When you have 8 guys who are great 3 point shooters, you should be ashamed of yourself if you don’t dominate the league in three point shooting. 3 is more than 2. It’s not complicated, call it “analytics” if you want to have dumb arguments
