For Smash 4 yes that was true. People kind of gave up due to *not* Disney ironically but *Square Enix* getting in the way. Hence why the trailer for him he’s *finally here* in his Ultimate trailer. His impact is still very strong as many people reacting to the reveal ended up bursting into happy tears. Sakurai is a fan of the series as well so you can bet he did everything he could.

@@calebgoodman3028 You'd be surprise how many wanted, heck, even argued, for Sora's inclusion. Even during most of the Ultimate DLC run up until it happened. So, they most certainly didn't gave up, not even "kind of". Despite the realistic talk of a licensing nightmare the character is.

As soon as that question came up I knew "I don't know any" would be the top answer. The chance that anyone, even people geeky enough to go to PAX, will care about any professional scene in any game is unlikely

Coney and Marss are mostly just troll and irony. But Little Z's is genuine. Hell, even Marss and her girlfriend (especially her girlfriend) were excited when he got announced and he usually talks a little bit about KH when playing with other Sora mains (like Maister). WaDi trolls with him being a goofy Disney kid and Esam likes him period (except when annoying people play him).
