Garcia didnt help ticket sales. People questioning whether the fight would even take place. Haney can punch, he was draining himself at 135lbs. At 140lbs you will see more pop with his punches. Not one punch power but he hits hard enough to gain respect from his opponents.

Saw that with the Prograis fight, who usually walks his opponents down. It's bad enough that he couldn't close the distance but didn't even let his hands go when the few opportunities came. It's a shame really.

agree with you. I think Garcia is hurting his commercial value amongst boxing fans and I wouldn't be surprised if the PPV underperformed

I like to support the sport and get most ppv’s. I just can’t on this one. There was a time I would have really enjoyed to watch this fight. Ryan ruined all that.

@@etc8217 I don’t think that’s true. Power changes things. I just didn’t think Ryan could catch him. Devin is usually too good defensively. But Ryan proved a lot of us wrong. Great fight. One of the reasons I love boxing so much.

Teo is too hot and cold. Good performance bad performance. Devin is Mr consistent and always enters the ring 100% laser focused and prepared. I agree with G man here I'd pick Devin's proffessionaliam and preparation over Teo's flashy unpredictability.

I think Haney struggles to get his due respect because he comes across as a bit of a dick. You can play the bad guy, but you have to have charisma like Floyd etc. Haney comes across as entitled and his mood always seems to be surly or sulky. And it's certainly not helped by Bill being his shadow outside of the ring. It's pretty hard to warm to someone if someone else is always doing their talking for them.

I’ve watched Haney for years. I thought he used to be quite humble. But he got so much hate from American fans even then. He’s kinda added the asshole element off the back of that. Sort of like a “oh you wanna hate on me, well F you!” Kinda attitude. And I don’t blame him.
