I was a volunteer puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind here in the States. My baby went all the way through training. She passed the final test, but they didn't feel she was confident enough as a guided so she was released. I adopted her. She was extremely smart and an exuberant girl!! Unfortunately she died two years ago at 9yrs old. I miss her so much. RIP Baby Girl
My dog might not be a real therapy dog and I won't claim that she is, but she has helped me so much so that I don't have social anxiety anymore. She still helps me with my adhd and asperger's by giving me some routine and getting me out of the house and of course just being there. Dogs and many other animals can be so helpful for non-neurotypical people (and of course neurotypical too) even if they aren't trained for special things. (Some people do need specially trained animals so it's good that there are these people working with and training these lovely creatures) Sorry if my writing is a bit strange. I have dyslexia and English isn't my first language :'D.
It's crazy what people with disabilities have to deal with and go through. It's cool to see our furry friends making life easier for people.
I hope, that all airport around the world start to use guide dogs to help those, who have issues... And I love, that the intense training these dogs went through and that the love the puppy raisers and trainers poured into their hearts, is still being used to change life's. ❤️❤️❤️

How touching. I'd love to have a guide dog to help me when my anxiety levels are severe. My little Maltese Poodle passed in February, and she kept me sane. One fine day I hope to have such a precious dog here in South Africa.

You can get these dogs in South Africa. I know 2 dogs that are being trained as Facility dogs like Elmo. Guide dogs SA trains dogs for children with Autism. Honey's Garden trains service dogs for people with invisible disabilities like diabetes and psychiatric disorders. My foster is being trained as mobility/seizure response service dog for a lady in Jo'burg.

Hey buddy i am a dogman . 59 yrs old and have 2rescue dogs . A Siberian husky cross German shepherd 9.5yrs and a bull terrier 3 yrs who was mistreated and was scared of everything to the point of shaking uncontrollably when he first arrived. We have had him 18 mths and he has turned around . You couldn't imagine a dog that is as gentle or loving as Loki!!! We gave him a ridiculous amount of love and care . Now he's my mate big time . I think Loki is number 13 in my life . Take my advice ,,, get yourself a dog!!!!!!! I too have suffered anxiety and depression and the dogs are my go to ! Whenever i feel anxious i cuddle the boys because i know by now it really does help . Ive had a lot of very special dogs in my time . Go get yourself a dog , treat it with kindness and love and it will lift your life . I know when you loose a friend its hard to think of replacing them , but honestly it works . And you will be in love again with someone new that will always love you ! All my regards and best wishes , Tony from Australia.

Their both in the bedroom with my wife at the moment. Its 10:30 pm now so i will be joining them soon . Ripley will comfortable on the floor but Loki will be on the bed as he feels the cold . When i get in ive got to demand Loki to move so there is room to get in . Once im in i tell him quietly to come and cuddle and he smoosas over and puts his back into my belly . And low and behold i have someone to spoon with . Ive got a few health problems as would be expected from an old goat but he keeps me feeling good. All the best to you , Tony.
I love this channel u guys have saved so many animals lives and your doing your best to save them I've been watching this channel for along time now and I love it
Elmo is the name from the red monster from sesame street
I’m so excited
Hope that service guide dogs are more welcome along with their owners 🌼to wherever they want to travel to...
Amazing story. Well done to the family for being involvedto share their important story. I had no idea airports had facilities for dogs and humans.
There is not a way to fully express what these dogs can do for people.🖤🇨🇦
I wish my country had guide dogs
Beautiful story! Thanks for sharing this it’s important
I did my PhD at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital in the UK, and there was Holly the therapy dog. Aimed at kids but I always go for a fuss if I can; such a calming way to the work day
There is a quote, I read somewhere which goes by " Dogs are the only animals on earth that loves you more than themselves". I believe all dogs are special and have a purpose. Some simply come into our lives to cheer us up and help destress and make our lives whole. While others have a larger purpose as guide dogs to assist their humans in time of need.Thankyou for your video which gives an insight on guide dogs. Love your new series on guide dogs.
I want to watch the whole thing not a trailer geez now it's got me all psyched up I'll be watching you can count on that because I love what you guys are doing it's so awesome.
Thanks for helping animals God bless you all
Sometimes i feel bad for these dogs, can't help it
You guys are doing a great job with the dog program that you have to offer to help people out there. It's a shame that the united states don't offer the same program in the United States we have to pay thousands of dollars for a guide dog and we have to have a doctor's approval for too
I'm excited to learn about the dog working at the airport to help the boy successfully navigate through that environment which presents challenges that might otherwise prevent him and his family from travel! Dogs can help people in so many ways! I would love to know more about how this is set up with the airport! It has a potential to help a lot of people who might not need a support dog on a continual basis to get through such environments if duplicated.
3 MORE HOURS!
I've been loving this new series. It gives a new perspective on guide dogs.
My family puppy walked/puppy raised 4 puppies for guide dogs for the blind in the UK. All became guide dogs.
As someone with autism myself, I can confirm that, yes, airports are extremely overstimulating.

Oh my goodness. I can so totally related to the stress of over stimulation. My daughter is on the spectrum and wasn't diagnosed until she was 33. Just knowing has helped a lot. She had a cat that was her emotional support animal, but she was euthanized recently at almost 19 yrs old and she is missed greatly. My daughter wants another cat but is not quite emotionally ready to get another one. It is hard.
Soooo cute
Is this the actual episode or just a trailer

I love you have a parent explain this for an autistic child because that is very much true and I also think they may be under plaid for some children

This is far more acceptable when someone leaves this world without even knowing any pain .. when sleeping .... we consider this type of death as a good KARMA.... since death is all about pain ... n death without pain is obviously a good karma.
