I remember them before the nerf and that was a massive let down a awesome creature getting nerfed so hard they almost felt trash to use they are still fun as hell to mutate the stats then run around with but a name maybe Needler or what ever the needle gun from halo is called

Those Velonasaurs look amazing! I do have a name suggestion for your "main" one as well. If you watched the series "Arcane", you are familiar with the substance called "Shimmer", the pink stuff that the villain Silco distributed in the poorer region of the city. I would call the Velonasaur exactly that: Shimmer. They kinda look like they took the substance too 😆

If you configure the S+ Blueprint Maker to allow armour, weapons and saddles to be converted to blueprints, it will also apply any painting that was done to the original. But you have to do it to one that is made when you loot it, not one you craft from a blueprint.

The helicoprion from ark additions can paint BPs, if the item you turn into a BP is painted then the BP becomes painted, it’s pretty cool. It use to anyways, idk if it’s been updated or anything.

S+ Blueprint Maker is the same, and can be configured to convert weapons, armour, and saddles to BPs.

For blueprinting saddle colors, try the upgrade station. Paint one then make it a blueprint and the colors should transfer over if I remember correctly!

I haven’t seen anyone say this but it’s true I tested it but rock elementals do more damage than most other tames to the stone bear not as much as gigas but they are the second best to use

S+ has the optioon to convert a saddle to a BP and if its painted you can keep those colors. but you need to enable it in the config and have self controll not to abuse it you velon could be called VELKILLMORE

adding to this, the s+ blueprint table can't convert items with crafting skill to a blueprint, so you can't abuse it to get better blueprints.

Few name suggestions for velanosaurs. Ni'kari, Azazael (someone pointed out they have slaaneshi colours and I agree). Or Boomer (shooting and all) or Prickle (cause a lots of thorns)

They look amazing

If you use the other ledge on ur right or on the left when you get inside the cave you can back up and avoid the rock attack and dont get any damage

I know that this is an old video but Blackshot would be a cool name for the velo

You can grind it up into a blueprint using the shark from ark additions and if it’s painted, the blueprint will be painted itself

Last night I was making a trip to the swamp Island for some organic polymer. Randomly found a 174 velanosaur fighting a lvl 80 tRex. It was a cool colour too. *sigh*

So about painting the blueprints, I use the upgrade station mod and if you paint something then turn it into a blueprint then craft something using the created blueprint it will be painted but you obviously need the mod to be able to have a painted blueprint. I found this out completely by accident because I had painted a weapon and just decided to mess around with the blueprint addon and it came out painted. Edit: Grammar
