I think Susan got a white cast with the Supergoop sunscreen because she used the appropriate amount. Even I get a white cast with that sunscreen even though I have pale, pale, paleeeee skin.

Your definitely right she had to of used way more. I have a white cast on every single mineral sunscreen I have ever used. I literally stoped wasting money on them and I don't wear them anymore. I can't even count how many I tried.

I always measure my sunscreens to 1/4 tsp when trying them out. All mineral sunscreens always give me white cast, even the ones people swear on their mother's grave. I've found that people generally under-apply mineral sunscreens by a lot. You even see Terrell rubbing in very thin layers at a time and "rubbing it in" aka "rubbing it off".

The MM team did a great job here! You're a natural in front of the camera, Terrell. I'd love more of these videos, showing various skincare items (not just sunscreen) on various skin types. BUT, it'd be super helpful if, in the corner of each person's video, there be something that says their skin type/concerns.

omg. props to terrell for dealing with that ashy tinted sunscreen lmaoo. my skin type is more medium tan but i totally relate with his skin type, i have almost the exact same preferences with sunscreen (my fave is olay regenerist mineral spf30, biossance spf, and supergoop zinc screen). he seems like a joy to be around, looking forward to more videos starring him :)

I agree with Carly, mineral sunscreen just gives me the paranoid feeling of my pores being clogged. I also find that mineral sunscreen feels like it's melting off my skin. I think it's just sweat dripping over the layer of sunscreen but then I want to wipe at the sweat and that just wipes off my sunscreen. I'll stick to chemical ✌🏼🔆

I feel the opposite....😅 I have acne and im kinda paranoid with chemical spfs because i feel like almost every one has alcohol or something that will irritate my skin and make me breakout....i try to use mineral ones cause they are for sensitive skin but i also struggle to find the right one...i've used Avene mineral tinted (its hydrating but not greasy) and now im using Nívea mineral ( its a little too hydrating for summer but i havent found another one...)😘

I find it funny that people think mineral sunscreen is not for acne prone skin. I get feeling a layer that bothers people. However, the zinc oxide in mineral sunscreen actually dries out pimples. Also, chemical sunscreens need to be oil soluble to mix the actives and often feel greasier. Chemical sunscreens go on smooth for sure, but doesn't mean they don't aggravate acne prone or oily skin.

For the next video with mineral sunscreen, measure the amount of sunscreen for each person. With a measuring spoon or something like that. So it can be exactly the same.

I’m not of a deeper complexion but this is the kind of video I have wanted to see! Seeing people paint a broad brush as to how sunscreens will work across skin tones without any evidence is frustrating. I’m so glad to see Terrell have his own series on MM and get his perspective in this video and future videos 🤗

Love the variety of skin tones and the pro cons of mineral at the beginning. I also am sensitive to a layer on my skin and the clogged pores feeling!! Hearing testers pain points, skin type, etc at the beginning so I know who I would align with is super helpful !!

Great video! The mineral sunscreen struggle is real. I recently started using the C’est Moi Sunshine mineral sunscreen and really like it. It’s not gonna be for everyone (very emollient) but there’s something for everyone out there. Can’t wait for the next video!

loved this video! I work at Target in the beauty department and I receive free products (I guess you could say PR). I've gotten a lot of different sunscreens and have tried out so many! it's very interesting to see how different it looks on all skin colors and how it looks on similar skin colors! there have been a couple of times when I say an absolute, "YES!" to a sunscreen or a definite, "😬😬😬😬." love you guys! x

Loved the video 😊 yes please do more! Love how you showed it & reviewed on four different people 😊 Can you try the Australian Gold Botanical face tint Spf50? It comes in 3 different shades 😎. The fair/light is a tad to light & the med gave me more of an orangey tint. So I just stick with the fair/light blends in nice after my moisturizer. Thank you!
