There IS an upgrade-spring for the Rey, Han Solo and Fortnite SP-L blasters available on NFStrike, as I recall. Oh, and the Quadrot is an awesome blaster. I have one, and I painted it in Nurgle-themed colors and call it "Grandfather's Blessing."

If you take out the air restrictors it becomes a shotgun it it is still as powerful

I definitely regret not buying the quadrot when I seen it at target. Now I want it even more. So much potential. So many ideas. A full k26 brass barreled quadrot vest? I think yes.

My local Wal-Mart just got the Quadrot in, or finally stocked it from the back room... I dig it. It works well without an upgrade. I haven't decided on a repaint yet. It looks cool already.

The fortnite blaster can use a tek 6 spring if you cut off flat ends and it hits gets 90 FPS to 100

I heard that you can use a sidestrike holdster to holster the quadrot

the weird spring is just that. A weird spring. you can put regular springs in that blaster just fine. only k26 and like-sized springs wont work.

Yes @Captain Xavier DoitForTheLolz is right, the plunger tube isnt tapered the tapered part of the spring fits in the plunger head about 2-3 coils so if u get a spring the same diameter as the larger end you can upgrade it....and im using the yellow turd handled ones lol ive thrifted as spare parts..

The Quadrot is dare I say it, lovely but for me it does benefit from a little filing around the top of the grip where the upper base of the thumb rests.

This video inspired me to get the quadrot just based on its design alone. Im not really into nerf in terms of doing competitions or modding, but the design of the gun is perfect for cosplay. I’m planning on painting it up to embrace the scrap and junk look of it, as well as replacing the plastic cloth grip with some bandage wrap.

Well stock Rival springs are pretty close to k26 in size and power so that makes sense.

where did you get the black screwdriver? i have at least 3 of them from m2 motor machines, but I dont know if you can get them anywhere else.

Yeah...that was one of the earliest mods for it...

He is the sort of absolutely insane that is good.

Gotan interesting idea...someone could make a short muzzle lee enfield or gewher43 or any bolt action internal clip nerf rifle or a federov avtomat style internal clip auto blaster...like it sounds interesting something like an infinus but cheaper and less tecnical...

I recently modded my qaudrot to take half darts and did a double stpring mod to it. Its so robust.

I'm genuinely glad to hear the nerf curator is still around. Last I heard of him, he was having some financial troubles, which sucks because he's a genuinely cool guy. +Jacob B - The thing to remember is that when you disable or remove a smart AR system, you're dividing the airflow as it has to discharge through all of the barrels at once, rather than one, which will drop the FPS *significantly*

If you look at stock springs the ends are squared off. That last coil is flush.

He means the last coil leaves a flat (also known as a square) end, so that it doesnt have a bit of the wire sticking out. You would typically achieve this by using one end of a k26, or using a pair of pliers to bend it flush. If you're interested in looking up the different types, google for "spring end cut types"

No we tried. Also of note the difference between the sp and the solo 4 dart internal is massive side by side

@@CaptainXavier probably not nearly as practical, maybe you could brass the breach and have that for long distance shots and the main blaster for taking down super zombies or piercing shields, that's the only real functional use i can see for something like that.

@@be5hy_andrizs610 well obviously it is possible. The SP-L is mechanically identical to a Magnus and it can be done to the Magnus so why would it not be possible to do it to the SP-L?

Can the first order stormtrooper blaster (rampage reskin) take a k26? I found one at savers for .99. There were so many. A recon retaliator rampage nitron a bazillion mavericks an old eliminator. My brother picked up a range master and a panther. Both worked well. I just stuck with the stormtrooper one. The stormtrooper one had 3 darts jammed. It works beautifully now. Im glad i learn about how nerf guns work from your channel, otherwise i would probably not have been able to fix it. Im trying to make a star wars loadout and am looking for the han solo pistol. I dont want to pay $30 for it at target

I'm looking to make nerf blaster that is similar to a 10mm sub machine gun. I have heard to use a demolisher as the base blaster then take the rocket launcher off. then do every thing else that needs to be done. I also so am leaning towards using half darts. What are your thoughts about this?

I figured half darts because they can be fun. Also they can be better than regular sized darts, but that is if you have good blaster. Either way they are fun.

I had to watch that intro a good 26 times until I moved on to the actual video.

I actually singled my Quadrot (I hate SmartAR systems) and cut the shell down so it has a nice and true "pistol" look and feel; that in addition to shaving and sanding key areas in the grip makes the little Quadrot a lot smaller and a lot more comfortable!
