A small note for anyone picking up the game, start as brazil, you get automatic waste stone to Rare trade resources which will fund you even without colonists, and allows you to completely terraform mars without people (you can use this income to research on earth) their nation also allows without mods making mars tourism profitable.

Nobody gets to escape Brazil.

Volumetric flasks have rounded sides and a long neck, so that they can be swirled or filled to a marked line with precision. What you have here is an Erlenmeyer, which is made for titrations (to prevent splashing). 🙂

The flask shown in the game is as the op of the comment said, an erlenmeyer (or a bit easier to say, a conical flask).

This was on my wishlist but I'd completely forgotten about it - and it is exactly the style of game I love. Thank you for reminding me! I've downloaded it and am ready to fail horribly and cause the deaths of hundreds in my efforts to colonize a hostile planet. Its going to bug me for eternity if I don't nitpick, so here it is: that's an Erlenmeyer flask, not a volumetric flask. Volumetric flasks are basically teardrop shaped with long necks, Erlenmeyer flasks have flat bottoms.

This is so strange, I just reinstalled Surviving Mars yesterday after not playing for ages and here's this gem of a video

Each line that guy drops is either poetry, philosophy or pure entertainment - or at times each of these! I could listen to him for hours on end!

Not gonna lie. This was a perfect day to see this. Been having a crap week so far and AA's antics always bring a smile to my face.

You're definitely a staple channel for me. Pretty much all the games you do videos on are either in my favorites list, on my wishlist, or rarely, games that need to be on my wishlist but aren't yet.

For a moment, I was concerned that this was Chicago. Thank you for putting me at ease.

Man, this game is a time machine disguised as games I was planning to play this game for 1 hour, ended up playing it for straight 6 hours, and it felt like 1 hour I had to spartan my essay from 1 AM to 7 AM and submit it at 10 AM

This appeared on my recommendation and had a good laugh watching. A deserved sub :)

I've been trying to figure out what makes these videos so charming, and I think I've finally got it. His narration is very similar to that of an informational video from the 1950s.

I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard at something that I cried. Great job and sense of humor. I'm sure my wife didn't appreciate me giggling like a school girl on my side of the couch, but this made my month and I'll likely end up getting the game.

It is possible, though. You just have to go HARD into science and rapid expansion. And even then 100% terraforming won't happen for a long while - vegetation is ridiculously slow and can't really be rushed like heat, atmosphere and water.

I think I subscribed to you back in 2017 while playing a CSGO game and you asked our group to subscribe. If my memory serves me right you were a very small channel back then if not just starting, although I could be wrong. My subscription back then did not disappoint as I've stumbled upon this gem of a channel recently and realized I was already subscribed.
