I think a better format is to coach the people instead of just talking, get them to feel the skill/rotation is much better.

Hmm I could do something like that, though I dont like telling people to play by a specific way because too many things in the game break a rotation. But it is relevant to potential at least do as a format where I could watch and make sure people have the most important fundamentals down (eg use buffers before your on fielder) Anyhow, I may try that for a future video, appreciate the suggestion. May be a bit hard to do properly because of people not being able to screen share

Alternatively, if the person is up to it, they can probably stream their game for him. That way, they'll have practical experience too while doing it.

Thank you so much for these videos! I'm a very new player - about four months now- and I have a significant learning curve as this is my first RPG- there is so much to learn. Lots of mistakes have been made (and are still being made), but the one thing I am happy to hear is that my favorite character at the moment, Yaoyao, is very valuable if built correctly. It's a long process; even getting the characters to move right is still a struggle, and I complicate things further by using an iPad with no controller. Thanks again for your videos; much of what is said is over my head, but I'll eventually get it!

Yaoyao is good, but he does overhype her a little bit. She has very powerful healing, but the cost... having her run/jump/sprint around to get that healing, is there. That is time not spent on a higher DPS character dealing damage. So while she can function just fine with low E talent and 70/70, if you are at a point where you can afford it easily enough, it is worthwhile to up her beyond that. Though this is obviously less of an issue in a team with characters that all deal most of their damage even while off-field, like the team he was suggesting using her for. Note that "run" bit... that works in addition to sprinting and jumping, so don't sprint for radish reasons, but Sol is correct that jumping is the most fun ;)

2:05 there are actually practical use cases for Furina's healing mode in abyss/high level combat, its more notable in Bennett teams or if you have non-teamwide healer. I highly recommend watching jamie (kb9v) video titled "So, how good was Furina? (Post Release Review)" timestamp at around 8 mins 40 seconds in that video. This is just a "reference" to say that i'm not just pulling this out of my "behind" 🤣, and its actually a tech that's being used by theory crafters/speedrunners/hardcore endgame players. The tech/combo is usually done on 2nd rotation and onwards (where furina's HP is sitting around 50%): C (change to healing mode) -> E -> Q -> C (change back to offense mode) then you do team stuff, instead of just using the usual EQ on Furina. [from my testing E->C->Q->C is virtually just the same as C->E->Q->C] This makes it so Furina will actually heal herself by around 2 ticks from her E, so you don't have to waste field time healing her especially with Bennett where you don't want to lose Bennett buff uptime.

Yeah I couldve maybe phrased that better. Lots of conversation was cut from this video, but if I recall I did tell Angel there is some use for it. But I didn’t go into specifics, as I was far more concerned with outlining how Furina just needs a healer (Yaoyao was obviously the main focus this instance) in general to make her feel useful. So yeah I probably should’ve mentioned/showed situations it can actively been useful in but at the same time I think the vast majority of players would prefer simplicity and comfort for using Furina rather than having to think about specific contexts wherein they need to now think about how to use Furinas CA to mode switch healing.

Sayu is actually pretty good as well! She doesn’t heal as much but she’s still a pretty good f2p alternative to Jean, and can also heal enough to consistently get a good amount of furinas stacks on a good build. Furthermore, since she already has sayu leveled I’d recommend she use her in a furina team as well, specifically the hu Tao furina yelan team

Good that you covered the Prototype Amber as a Nahida option. Hopefully you stressed R5'ing as well, for maximized healing. It really does work nicely for a Furina/Nahida combo, because Furina's burst buffs incoming healing, while Nahida's has a relatively short cooldown.

I might be the most casual player to ever exist. I'm AR50 on my way to AR60 without evolving the world level so as not to increase the difficulty I'm already experiencing. The only character who has the correct artifacts is Alhaitam AND only him. I really need a second team for Abyss, or at least a second character built to carry the entire team as my Alhaitam is doing rn. When I got into this game, I thought it would be a stupid little game with cool graphics with cool characters and a cool story and it really has that! But I didn't count on something so counter-casual. I'll be randomly roaming around just seeing the world beauty I don't use zhongli on the main team so i might will use
