Arkham Games: Arkham Asylum (2009) Arkham City (2011) Arkham Origins (2013) Arkham Knight (2015) Arkham Asylum was written by Paul Dini (Along with Arkham City) who just happened to be one of the key writers behind the amazing Batman: The Animated Series. The game also shares many of the same voice actors from that series including Kevin Conroy as Batman, Mark Hamill as The Joker, and Arleen Sorkin as Harley Quinn this being here last role as Harley before she retired. Harley was also an original characters created by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini for the Batman Animated Series based on Timm's actress friend Arleen Sorkin who of course voiced the character as well. In terms of where Batman is at during the events of Asylum. He's been Batman for at least a decade by this point so he's got a decades worth of history already by the events of Asylum from his history with allies and villains to like to saw in the Bios characters like Barba Gordon was already Batgirl for a good number of years before being paralyzed by The Joker. I do recommend using a controller for these games but I did replay through Origins and Knight with keyboard and mouse and it was fine. The combos and move sets are just much easier to remember on controller along with gadgets etc. Only advantage I found from using a mouse was faster camera movement of course but beyond that Controller is much easier for these type of game. 28:10 This is pulled from The Killing Joke (1988) one of the most iconic Batman/Joker comics that was VERY dark. All the stories you hear in the bios are pulled from the comics and are made canonical within the game, at least playing out in a similar way to what happened in the comics. The games universe is separate from the comics so they can do their own thing with characters and stories. But Batgirl getting shot is pulled from the comics. 57:15 Combat: X - Attack Y - Perry B - Cape Stun A - Roll You'll unlock new move sets later but once you master the buttons you'll be doing really well. It's an amazing combat system that just gets better and better with each game. Night and day difference going from Asylum to City. I found it so funny whenever you started spamming the cape stun. Idk if it's an upgrade for Asylum but in City if you cape stun someone you can then spam X and hit the enemy over and over super fast.

Wow thank you so much for your comment, I love the insights!!! I've become more familiar with the combat system now :) I'm liking it better, but I'm definitely not great at it - I think it also has to do with my positioning/timing. But also I'm a chaotic player, so I do tend to panic hit a lot haha 😂
