If they want to really differentiate the two biomes I think it'd be good to add some kind of new threat to it though. Currently the burnt biome is just the Desert biome with a darker atmosphere. Perhaps they could increase the chances of a feral burnt victim zombie spawn since they're easy to spot in the early game while still providing more than enough of a threat to avoid at all costs (in the early game anyway). Lol.

I always made my base underground in the burning forest so would like to make a giant burning forest map.

At the Purser Residence, I always have dogs "naturally" spawn there, but they never spawn when I start a quest there and I don't know why.

Seems like if you're planning on specing into intellect you should just do an OP turret build. Then you can take all those early points out of strength and rush better barter for a cheaper crucible. Another great thing about this playthrough so far is you found the brass book. Brass gives you a ton of money early, so I usually break every door, and scrap all brass items in the wild. Add in polymers as well and you'll have your 12k very quickly.

Spawn literally 3 seconds into the game, not even finish loading the surroundings. 2 Zombie Bears and Feral burning zombies already patrolling my ass, when I walk about 2 meters they run like an Olympic runner to eat me. 😂 That is the fastest die I ever encounter other than stepping on land mind and triggering the chain reaction.

You didn't mention it by the mausoleum first, maybe because you didn't think it worth it, but digging up graves can be worthwhile. Graveyards usually have at least one ammunition crate hidden underground, from my recollection. And once you get the grave robber book (Lucky looter, I think?) the coffins get lucrative too.

Just started to play 7DTD and have consumed an unhealthy amount of your content but cant wait for more! keep the videos coming

I used to always put points into the two mining perks early but now I don't until it's a little past mid-game stages. I rely on salvaging and make small horde fighting bases. It works out better with not clogging up the loot piles with tools and the mining magazines.

Every time that I go into the Wasteland I pucker up a bit. Maybe this series will give me what I need to fight there without undue fear in the future. Thanks in advance IzPrebuilt!

started a wasteland campaign a few weeks ago, them first several weeks were awful because i couldnt find the landmine book and im paranoid, but after that it was easy going. i'd suggest the motorcycle though, the wasteland debris just destroys the 4x4 hp

I would suggest when starting a difficult server to select deep cuts over bats. This causes a bleed on the enemy so you don't have to remain near it and slows them down. Great vid.

Strength and Intellect, get vehicle, then re-spec? Just as the Fun Pimps intended every single playthrough of their game ever to be (fair enough for a Wasteland series, although your intellect series showed how OP this build is in a regular world).

I went int and double junk turret and quit my playthrough because it was boring. Those turrets are deadly when you level up.

This is gonna be rough. Nighttime sometimes might be even more of a struggle than actual horde night

Only the ones that spawn during the night, as part of the natural spawns. They die when the sun comes up. Ones in hordes or pois do stay active.

I play on Xbox and hate the waste land. I dont mind the dogs, or those running tanky zombies. But my god *SCREW* those landmines

Maybe any levelup points, since you were talking about INT, putting into Better Barter...

What about using some of that 1500 wood reward for wooden spikes to help deal with the dogs and slow down the bears and deal with the general awfulness?

If you're really lucky while questing and find armor mods you could repair, mod and sell those level 6 scrap armor pieces for a couple thousand dukes each. There's of course also brass, the extra bicycle chassis you stored (assuming you didn't sell it in between cuts) and the option to salvage as much as possible like you did during the Desert Ranger series back in the day. If you do end up scrapping for cash (instead of fun) I'd recommend at least one point into Salvage Operations. Otherwise the task would be intolerable since your stamina would be constantly drained.

Scrapping is a great way to make money fast, but not with a level 1 wrench. You should have at least a ratchet with some mods for that.

Can you continue this until you die, or build a comically large base, making you unkillable?

No, my series' last a certain amount of time by design. By episode 20 the views have fallen off significantly, continuing on until episode 30, 40 or even 50 would be me just pumping out content, doing nothing for 50-60% of that series length. Taking several hours out of my day, every day, for minimal returns in revenue and absolutely crippling boredom on my part. Also the chances of me dying go DOWN as the series goes on, not up. So it could last forever if i did it like that. And no, im not building a base. Again that usually involves hours and hours of digging (time wasted, because it's not content) and hours an hours of placing blocks (again, time wasted, non-content)

do you know you can get double the loot in a house marked as quest? if you loot the house first, you will be able to loot again once the quest is started, because the game restart the region to it's original state.

now for your next challenge do this, but on max xp gain 300% and see how many days you can survive... or you can try the mod jawoodle is using, the demos only mod, and see how well you fair.. can only imagine demos on insane nightmare

LOL - yeah, that Tier-1 POI that often has a dog in it - NOPE! I definitely learned about that beastie the hard way. Edit: And the week-one crucible. HOW do I hate that thing; I've never managed to wrench enough cars (if I even manage a wrench by then), or anything else by the time they re-set. Dangit!

I'm only 15 minutes in, but man are you nonchalant about the mines that can be anywhere. I was on day 2 or 3 of a wasteland only PT a couple weeks ago, and a mine like a single block off the main road, right next to the trader, ended me (and that PT). Also, not sure if you know, but in the Wasteland, you can have mines *inside* POIs. That Tier 2 graveyard POI (either the crypts or the mausoleums, not sure which), the one where you go down the stairs below to the large room - it can spawn mines inside that POI (on the surface, near where all the graves are) in the Wasteland. I've seen 1-2 in there the last few times I've encountered it, so tread lightly in that one!

Man I've not played this game in forever lol. Last time I played there were no quests, no traders, maybe not much with stats or skills. Can't remember which alpha version it was.

I give you 3 days till your comfy, maybe 4. cycle in a week.

The Wasteland just looks so miserable. Difficulty (and bonus loot) aside, it's an ok place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

So... Everytime i try this i get swarmed by cop zombies, vultures, jumpers and dogs before i even get to the trader. So i have to ask... WHERE THEY ARE?

How dare you betray the strength/fortitude build?

I just started a build, at a lower difficulty obviously, but I went full intellect with three points into Intellect and 1 in lockpicks. All other points spent on pumping lockpicks until I had workbench, then add grease monkey. Additional points to better barter and daring Adventurer. It's day 8 and I have a motorcycle and I just bought a chem station. I'm building and selling mini bike handlebars for Dukes. It's the smoothest fastest I've got to where I want to be: Maxed Intellect Maxed Daring Adventurer and.Better Barter No turret(s) yet

Quick question... if you are playing permadeath, why bother putting down a bedroll?
