I am shocked by how low Serbia, Portugal, Azerbaijan and Latvia are honestly in odds….are people “manipulated” by odds or something? Are we loosing real music in Eurovision for shock value? I am a little dissapointed in fans this year honestly.

People overrate the quality of this year songs just because there's a lot of uptempo and/or crazy songs. But when you look into it, there is very few (if any) songs that will go into history as being iconic.

1. Veel geluk met jouw examens! 2. I want/NEED in the finals: IRELAND, Ukraine, Croatia, Slovenia, Moldova, Australia, Portugal & Luxemburg.(last one only because it's part of BeNeLux & 30 absence) The two extra can be Serbia & Azerbaijan. Unfortunately that probably wont happen...

Mixed - originally meh, but then it grew on me!! When they didn't make the final I was so sadddd

The voting from the start only applies to the final though... And I agree, Finland might be very overestimated by people. Poland is high in the odds because of diaspora. Most of their allies are in this semi final.

I'm surprised how the bookmakers predict all songs from the 1st half to qualify, I highly doubt that will happen

In overall, this semi final is weaker than the other one (suprisely) but stil very good. I'd say sure qualifiers are Lithuania, Ukraine, Croatia and Finland. Also pretty sure about Luxembourg thanks to the running order. Then I'd say we're losing someone from first half ; so 3 in out of Cyprus, Serbia, Ireland and Poland. From the second half left, we'd get two out of Slovenia, Azerbaijan Australia, Portugal. Really hoping Raiven and Iolanda can make it.

Don't think anyone think Finland will be better than top15 at best, as in the odds?

The countries i think they will qualify for now: 1. Croatia 2.Ukraine 3. Lithuania 4. Luxembourg 5.Finland 6. Slovenia 7. Cyprus 8. Ireland 9. Serbia 10. Portugal

The only ones I care from this group are: Slovenia (Amazing singer, also live) Australia (Amazing singer, also live) Serbia (great singer, probably live aswell) Cyprus (good singer, also live) Portugal (great singer, also live). That's it! Ukraine is good and I think they will get a lot of votes from televoting. Croatia shares probably the same fate as ukraine (even ukraine has the better song) Poland has a nice song and the singer is good live so she might have a chance to qualify. Moldova has a great singer, also live but the song won't really stand out between the others in my opinion. Azerbaijan has a good singer and the song is nice too so he might have a chance to qualify if the staging is on point. Luxembourg has a catchy song and a nice singer but I don't see it really stand out compared to the others. Lithuania is totally overrated and it looks to me as if they only going by his looks and the rhythm of the song cause otherwise he is one of the weakest singers in the whole competition and the lyrics of the song are as weak too. Iceland is a great singer but the song feels as if it stuck back in time and would had been rather relevant around 10 years ago. Finland, fun song but weak vocalist in live performances and if the long haired guy goes to the stage in his string tanga like he did in other live performances, I don't see the jury voting for them at all.

Serbia started with 26th position after PZE and reached 18th in two weeks, and in the next two weeks it fell to 23rd position. All the ballads are so underrated with the exception of France and Israel, by the way, who get a good start no matter what they send. And what does the fact that people don't appreciate emotion in ballads tell you? I think that the world is slowly sliding towards the realization of an agenda and a future without emotions, love and empathy. Weak vocals and even weaker lyrics of Lithuania, also of Finland, the terrible song of Greece, the copy song of Croatia (and many else examples), are 10, 20 or 30 positions above all other ballads. This is my opinion even nobody cares!

@@md5927 the fact that you do not understand language - it does not mean lyrics have no meaning. As a Lithuanian I can tell that Luktelk has a strong meaning. There are many hidden details corresponding with depression, suicidal ideas, identity diffusion - these are the things that Lithuania tends to be leading in the world (it used to nr 1 by the number of suicides, in 2021 - 2023 I think it finally got better, the country is in 14th place in the world). As a psychologist I can tell that lgbtq person, such as Silvester deals with lots of homophobia in my country. That's the reason he was living abroad. Even now - there are still lots of lithuanians clearly underrating him even though he clearly opened up in the lyrics about society pressure he had been dealing with that led him to depression. So yeah, it's a sad song, not a fun one. Similar vibes as Sebi, which I loved. Try listening to Luktelk having in mind all the thing I have juat said and you will hear pain in his voice.

@@jelapenas5252 Of course, I checked the translation of the song, and without your psychological analysis and insight like you present to me, it is just a song of weak meaning. I like the Lithuanian song exclusively because of the rhythm and I appreciate that it is sung in the native language of the country it represents. Now compare it with the lyrics, meaning and message of the song from Serbia, which contains 1. historical national insight about sacrifice, suffering, 1/3 of human victims and complete defeat as well as another difficult victory and give us strong antiwar message, 2. individual and 3. mystical give us messages victory of life over suffering and light over darkness, anti-suicidal, anti-depressant and strong messages about the impermanence of life. Does such a ballad that encourages strangers to cringe and cry, does such a ballad of such significance deserve the initial 26 and current 23bposition? Yes, it deserves because we live in a world that is not fair and correct and I accept that, but as a doctor, I worry about future generations. I'll listen your song on another way knowing a deeper meaning and message! And yes I like your song but I have be fair and say no its not fair if you are 15th now and Serbia 23rd or Portugal 33rt. That's point of my disagree of odds at ESC!❤️

@@md5927 I think you are worrying too much about the odds. Serbia is a clear jury bait. My bf liked Serbia's song without even understanding the meaning. It gives lots of emotions. He, as an actor caught it right away. I'm sure it will reach similar amout of jury votes as Saudade did.

Australia will easily qualify.....Serbia no way!.

Likely to be the opposite… there’s no jury voting and Australia almost never does well in the final with the public vote. Dami Im was the strongest song and performance when she performed, yet the public didn’t give it the just result.
