I feel like mayhem is best to pick up as early as possible even if it's common, as it starts scaling your damage immediately and because curse has a 3x multiplier on spell damage buffs, it means curse is more likely to actually kill the beefier enemies later on (allowing it to continue to scale more easily). Plus, when you upgrade mayhem to a higher rarity, I *believe* it retroactively scales the damage inherited. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this sickness still, mate. Hope you feel all the way better soon.

I love taking Ravens whenever I get Mayhem! They are awesome at last-hitting enemies with their cursed attacks, and ramp up that damage bonus a good bit.

Early master ravens into Mayhem is one of the most op things you can do.....and all you have to do is walk around lmao

those sickles are massive lol

Time field totally could have should have would have carried you.

Those skills should have been enough for you to survive. The game certainly needs some balancing.

Meteor Swarm impact damage needs a 100% buff. Blight is more understandably a support skill that does solid damage. Frost definitely needs another damaging spell. Also part of Winters kit is to make auto attacks good, which is unfortunately not viable without adding base damage to the skills

Even though it isn't sexy damage, I think justice would keep you alive with frostfire since those provide very little survivability outside of freezing mobs. 1 point into Consecration, 1 point into divine shield and x points inner peace make you really tanky. Usually when I pick up justice I alteration out of her blessings more often to focus more points into the 2 damage gods I have.

Wonder what the 215 item is a reference to being the most "haunted number"? Only thing close I can thing of is Jeffrey Domer's apartment number was 213, maybe it's suppose to be his next door neighbor or something.

It might be nothing. There are apparently a LOT of inside jokes in the games just between the devs. I can't remember if they confirmed if 215 is one of them but I think it was. There was a lot of talk of it on release week.

Also: I just paused this video half way through to do a quick run, inspired to finally give inscription a go. Holy crap. Ended up with Time/Winter/War. I have like 20% master and ~50% legend on my Merris, and I rolled pretty damn well: ended up with Master Blades, Chains, Frost Ring, Deadlock, and Blight. Also landed nearly all the legendaries from those gods (including Shatter, World Freeze, and Frost Dragon). AoE boon on Winter came late at adept, but maxed it by the end and upgraded to expert. In short, holy crap. That was one of the best runs I've done. ended at close to lvl 70, and I could barely see the screen for the size of all of the effects. Chains and Frost Ring were nearly off the screen, Blight was just everywhere thanks to Gem High cooldowns... Just crazy. Drac went down in like 10 seconds on darkness 40 (edit: Darkness 30. I’m very sleep deprived, sorry). Thanks for this inspo, Jeff.

Taking time field with all that spell duration and size would trivialize the end game. Try it.when you have 4 time fields covering the whole screen, projectiles and big boss are sauce.

Answer: no. It is a bit unfortunate how weak the fire/frost build is. And it's a real problem how enemy attacks become impossible to see when you are successful in covering the world in bad stuff. It's like you end up killing yourself by getting good upgrades.

All that frost at the end seems like such a detriment because you lose all visual clarity. Good runs, though.

Normally I just time it better and only dash when I have to. Only 1 dash is why I lost here though.

The game is so imbalanced toward time, mort, and lightning. There also was no sense of progression for me. Those two factors caused me to uninstall the game. They need to steal.. I mean learn from Vampire Survivors to see how to make a great game.

A cup of coffee costs the same as the game.. The game was well worth for me. They have a great foundation and it's early access. I'm pretty sure updates and content is on the way. Id happily buy dlc for this game.

Also, VS had been out for what 3 years now? I clearly remember it not being balanced at all and being forced to use the same 2 evos to win a run for quite a bit. Gotta give them time to cook
