Can I Make a Junk Compact Fluorescent Work on a Different Ballast?

This is purely for my amusement. These spiral bulbs are neat but their electronic ballasts are junk. I wonder if I can make it work with a different ballast.

A neon sign transformer is also fun.... It could be that the filaments (if they are still intact) do not create enough current consumption to make the gas lamp inside the starter glow, and heat up enough to make the thermal moving contacts close then release. Or they are connecting and releasing rapidly.
In 230V country it is possible to light up these CFL tubes using series ballast for 13W T5 bulb._
This seems like an interesting tangent. You should consider tearing apart a new incandescent lightbulb to see if this will actually work. Since we do not know if that old "worn out" bulb is screwing up the results 🤔 :D

Incandescent bulbs are finnickey since they require a vacuum chamber or the filament will immediately burn out. I do have an idea on how I could make that work but currently no funding to build an appropriate vacuum chamber.
I wonder, if you wired it up with only 2 wires, it would of worked, like a hid bulb
Those exposed wires makes me nervous xD
