Lagos de Moreno is a place that Americans and Canadians are not flocking to, so the prices are some of the lowest that you will find in all of Mexico.

Thanks for the video Bill. I’m in a Homestay in a small town 12 miles from Oaxaca for the next 4 months, but I’m definitely going to check this out when I work my way out of the country in April. I like the Homestay I picked out of the blue (little less than $8 a day total) but this little town is limited on restaurants to choose from.

What about smaller rentals for budget minded single seniors? A one bed one bath would be plenty fof space for me. The US is becoming worse and more expensive at the same time. I think it's funny when people tell me that Mexico is too dangerous. They must not watch the local news or read the paper because the US is experiencing an increase in crime.

Howdy, I bet if you just cut the prices I put up in half, that is about what you would pay for a 1 bed, 1 bath. It would be very affordable I am sure. There was no crime when I was there. Best, Bill
