Hope you liked the game! I picked it up recently too, I've always liked fighting games but never learned them properly, but this just hits different, like the flow isn't something crazy like MVC, it's something more manageable to me so I am learning to love it too. Hope you keep making videos about it!

I feel like you'll grow to love SF6. In my opinion, it's the EASIEST fighting game as of late to learn, but at the same time, the most DIFFICULT to master. Dee Jay is quite the challenging character to learn. If you want to learn a character, I recommend Ken, Marissa, and E. Honda. Very easy to start characters with a HUGE learning curve 💯

Its easier than most fighting games to pick up but doesnt ditch what makes street fighter difficult to master. There's still hard links in combos and mixups and everything that makes street fighter what it is.

As a tip you can buffer drive rush by holding parry and mashing forward

SF6 definitely has me intrigued, especially coming from playing games like early Tekken and Soul Calibur / Soul Blade. Always a joy seeing these kinds of videos

I love the Zyzx_ cameo while you are trying to do the combos as if he's angry youre messing up his boi.

I have no one to play UMvC3 with where I live so I live vicariously through you playing my favourite lawyer, but SF6 allows me to get solid matches where I live for the first time in a long time so I'm very thankful for it. Would love to see you play more SF6! You may know this already (as video production takes a bit), but a few DJ pointers from a plat DJ scrub: ~4HK is your best non-charge anti-air. If you get it high enough you can MSobot them or just go for meaty pressure ~DJ's drive rush is one of (if not the) best in the game. 5MP (also your best all-around meaty) is +2 and can frame-trap into itself/leads to tick throws/EX Jus Cool meterdump combos ~Noticed you using 2HK (unsafe on block) after 2MK. After 2MK would recommend using Jus Cool into LK, command dash up throw, or just be patient and whiff punish them. ~2MK is one of DJ's best tools in the nooch, but it can be drive impacted so be ready to react or mix up pressure. A lot of people online will just throw out DI to test reactions, be on your toes! ~Once you get the hang of drive-impact pressure and your opponent starts using invincible reversals, you can bait DPs with Jus Cool->block out of drive rush. Very satisfying. Hope these tips are helpful! DJ's super deep with lots of different options, safe-jump setups, and feints. This is just what I've figured out, there's a lot more out there.

Hey I got placed in sliver on release, and I just hit diamond last night. It’s a long journey, u improve quickly during the low ranks. Most people plateau around plat, that’s when u kinda have to lab match ups and really learn how to read your opponent.

It's funny, outside of GBVS beta (and some DNF Duel) only SF6 has hooked me this year. Kinda interested in Tekken; if only to see what war-crime related nonsense those silly Mishimas are gonna be up to.

I feel that for shit and giggles you should try some of the older games too just to see the journey that the series took but also see some of the goofy stuff they left during the journey, there are decent collections but fightcade is alwas there if you need rollback or feel looking for spicier players.

SF6 probably the best options. It has a single player mode that can help you learn the basics without just playing training mode for hours which is really boring.

Im not a big fan of sf6 di and perfect parry kinda ruin the experience. I dont think its unbalanced i just dont believe they belong in traditional 2d fighters especially not street fighter. I also dislike the change to chun li but thats mostly becuase ive played chun in every game and i dont like stance characters. Stance isn't useful outside of oki and combos.

Imma be honest it just seems like you are forcing yourself to do it and that made this video painful to watch. Compared to your other videos you seem to be forcing yourself to play instead of playing because you are having fun

it was definitely a different vibe for me! but that is ok, it's ok to try new things and not love them immediately that's kind of what this video was about in a sense, I've learned since then to enjoy more things about this game actually and I never would've figured that out if I didn't try something new!
