You kinda got me there as I've been trying to play a sim who enjoys gardening but I really don't enjoy to constantly have to tell them about the weed 😂 This funny telescope is my favorite object in the game! When they added more celestial prints, I was overjoyed! 🌌 I will get out of my way and find a way to fit it in, along with the chess table.... and office.... and easel...and coffee machine.... I might have a problem here

I’ve actually started defaulting to the observatory because I get the meteor death so often when I’m trying to grind for the logic skill with the regular telescope💀 I’ve killed so many sims with that thing by accident when I look away for like five seconds and they just get frickin smited

Once, when I was doing the first generation of the not so berry challenge, my sim got the death by meteor, I panicked and closed the game without saving. I could have just let her die, because I had the next generation already but I didn’t know what to do 😅

Yeah, I agree. I am afraid to use the little telescopes for that exact reason lol. The enclosed one seems to be much safer. Plus, you get the pictures you can sell or add to your home for the focusing aura :)

"a satellite floats past the moon" is a really nerdy joke, because the moon is a satellite. We think of them as man made objects but it's something that orbits a planet.

When you moved the bush while he was peeing it actually revealed that the Sims 4 had a squatting peeing animation in the game for YEARS now yet they only chose to give us squatting toilets this year lol.

you can look at the whole animation by sizing the bush down to a tiny one and then using it. But I doubt it's an actual squatting-to-pee animation, it's probably just a way to make sure the head doesn't stick out.

Something about Kyle Kyleson being a genius somehow makes so much sense but also so little

someone should compile how much money Stanley has made over the years doing these challenges and add them all up and use it as a budget for an actual home for Stanley! that would be so cute.

Kyle is OBSESSED with Stanley

Kyle IS my favorite townie- He's even the husband of my legacy game heir. He came in clutch for my Sims after her old fiancé cheated on her. He's just such a fun guy and super nice too. As soon as I saw him and how he acted, I knew he'd be high up on my list, but he's ended up being #1 for me.

my top 3 townies are kyle, ukupanipo hekekia and kayla flemming. married all of them more than once. kayla straight up finishes her aspiration autonomously without any help whatsoever and ukupanipo is just wild

I've renovated the museum in Oasis Springs in to a MoSI (Museum of Science And Industry), and have it on the roof - it saves me putting in to small lots! Plus the original gallery sucks...

In addition to non-career related hobbies I like to give a lot of my sims something they collect. Sometimes it's an official collection (or more than one, like all the space related things or historical artifacts) especially for Geeks who get bonuses from them, other times it might be a buyable theme (e.g. buy all sports related posters/trophies/clutter, unlockables can be bought at retail stores). It adds an extra element to their personalities.

Heehee that’s funny because I use this all the time.!! For building logic, later for building mischief! Spying on neighbours and yes I love getting prints of space and always use it as a woohoo spot. Lol the normal telescope I find less useful except for the fun of the risk of spotting a meteor! Love your Stanly sim! Really love your building talents and gentle nature! I like to take the time to set the neighborhood action plans to the ones that help lower my bills. The power and water conservation days (one day/week isn't horrible), the energy efficient devices, etc. help out a lot. I usually pick the 4th one based on what interests/work my Sim is into.

All of the items in the Sims have so much text written and I always feel so bad because I (and most others) barely read them.

Every time you move a collectable in and out of your inventory it counts as a new collectable. It's an easy way to cheat the aspiration

i recently created a save in which there’s a few normal families, a literal cult and a couple that has literally every hobby available in the base game. that’s pretty much the only time i’ve ever used the huge microscope and the observatory.

2:08 Every time you pick up a collectible from your inventory and put it back again, the game thinks you've collected another, that's why the number of collectibles for your aspiration is going up like that.

As a space lover thats always looking for space things to decorate my sims house with im very happy to learn about these prints

I love science and space and use these prints quite a lot with debug but have never actually tried to complete the collection myself. I think I need to now it looks so much fun 😂

I use the cupcake machine in my Steampunk style builds. We have quite a bit of industrial items but it's hard to do a Steampunk build without cc. It fits pretty good.

i think lilsimie should do a rags to riches where she gets a spinning wheel and puts all of her past rags to riches and then spin three times and the three she gets is the only way stanley can earn money and no other way to earn money but those three and see how quickly stanley gets a mansion

Well, having a baby will solve his social needs and his boredom needs at the same time. If it were rags to riches I would have said go for it. But you inspired me to do this challenge!

Just yesterday I used a whole bunch of these in a house! They’re easily some of the best base game art.

I've been playing sims a long time and never bothered to do this. Definitely glad you did.

Don't disagree about the challenge finding space for it, but I still use the one in the San Myshuno's park and add one to to the library lot in Britechester all the time. I like collecting things like the space prints and the moon prints that came with the werewolf pack. You can't collect the space prints using the smaller one. Also, as others have said, sometimes not having to worry about random meteors killing my Sims is a plus.

I kind of love the picture with the satellite 😆 I loved Kyle in this episode haha

I like the observatory- I put it in San Sequoia near (your) rec center for another activity for families to do. I want to make a planetarium with it someday

He's a storymode sim. You can see the first video he's in on the rags to riches playlist. It's the painting one but it just says "how fast can I get rich" or similar. He was going to be deleted but she liked his name. It's always been referred to as a costume until fairly recently she says he is a hotdog not a sim in a suit. It's always changing lol.

I wonder if Kayla would make a suburban home with every room themed by a Space Photo from the telescope?
