You actually can craft a toilet and a bathtub with the woodworking table! Not sure about sink tho, I know this because I played a save file where my sim earn money by selling sculptures and furniture, so the woodworking can actually do plenty of stuff. You can make a dining table, chair, barstool. I don't remember anymore, but you can make a lot of stuff with it! Though they don't often look hat nice... Edit:Thank you for all those likes!!! You can also make a violin or a guitar when the woodworking sim is skilled enough both in handiness and the instrument.

A TRICK when dumpster diving. Collect all plates, glasses, trash piles (after you search/rummage) spoiled food etc... into your inventory. When the dumpster is out of "Deals" Add a plate... and get a bed, or a TV, or your next meal. Don't add more than four or five (When the dumpster over fills, stop... any other waste KEEP until it empties again.) Look around the dumpster for fallen out trash as well.

You could add a dumpster to her lot - so you don’t have to keep traveling to eco-lifestyle land and fighting off other sims. And there’s a way of cleaning off/salvaging some of the burned and destroyed items, too. Looking forward to part 2!

I made my sim a spellcaster and used Repario and Scruberoo spells which are quite early on in the practical magic branch

As others have said, you can craft a toilet and tub with the woodworking table (Handiness 9 and 10, forgot which is which). Also Tables, chairs, stools, coffee tables, side tables, a mirror, planters big and small. Also, you can create lighting in the form of jack-'o-lanterns, with the Spooky Stuff carving table. I would love it if the woodworking table would get an upgrade, to allow creating more wooden things, such as counters. I suggest playing around with the woodworking table more, it is a very useful item.

9:00 well, it's not supposed to look like that lol. That one was made unsuccessfully. If she successfully makes one it'll look like one from the gallery. All of the furniture that can be crafted on the woodworking table has a failed version and a succeeded version. The higher handiness skill a sim has, the more likely they are to successfully create a piece of furniture. You can also craft a toilet and a bathtub and a mirror on the woodworking table

I think if your handiness skill is higher the barstools turn out better looking.

True, and I’m pretty sure it also depends on your mood/needs. The higher your mood and skill, the higher the chance of the product having good quality.

I don't think I could live the recycling lifestyle in the Sims 4 without repeatedly 'refreshing' the dumpster so it would become full again each time I emptied it. Yay for mods that increase enjoyment!

Its actually easy. Get your own dumpster and out a fence around it. Lock the gate to just your sim. Get a dog and when it poops throw away the poop then you can dive for deals. The amount of furniture my dog has pooped out is insane!

Something I think is good to know is Ecolifestyle came with a lot challenge that let's you collect Bits & Pieces when you have it active. Reduce and Recycle.

I've always wanted to do a rags to riches challenge but start out by building a proper lot for my sim to squat on. A scrap yard or something with a recycler. Use the dump site lot trait.

I'm proud of you. You didn't recycle the mantis despite your dark curiosity.

I love this idea! I was thinking of building a home with only crafted, woodworking, knitted and painted items. You can use woodworking to make your bathroom, but for the kitchen I'm not so sure. Counters are fine, but fridges and stoves I think have to be bought, or found in the dumpster.

This actually gave me an idea, I only mess with the painting skill maybe wood working. But to have a sim who makes everything in their home? Amazing! I spent too much hard earned cash to not explore this. Thank you!!

You can make a bathtub and a toilet on the woodworking table at level 9 and 10 respectively. Also, if your Sim is proficient in either violin or guitar they can craft an intrument on the table as well.

I love starting a rags to riches legacy with this kind of gameplay. Littlemisssam has a mod that adds more furniture and items to the woodworking table to expand the kind of things sims can build. Theres another mod that adds fabrication items to the woodwork table (to not have that super modern glass item) but I've never managed to get it to work.

Tysm for mentioning that mod, I had no idea it existed! I was just thinking of starting a playthrough with this gameplay as well, and having more items for that table would be super useful, so I’ll definitely check that out! :)

2 tricks I use is to a)put a dumpster on my own property and b)instead of taking out the trash at home, rummage for bits. Throw the mess you leave after away again and rummage again. You can do it until the trash is empty and can't be taken out. Plant crap plants then uproot them, it makes more trash.👍

You can make your own toilet. It's with the workbench. A toilet and a bath tub.

I did an extreme rags to riches. I did the whole kitchen and bathroom with just dumpster dived items. None of in matched but that added to the charm.

I found a mod that lets you make more on the woodworking table, except it's out of date or something. I desperately want more craftables. I love playing this way.

Thanks for the upload! I just started another save lol. Good idea. I actually just recently got the eco lifestyle EP so I'm excited to learn about the fabricator.

I use MCCC to make sims go home, very useful in many situations. Alternatively, bring a lightning storm down on their head and cackle with diabolical laughter; don't forget the laughter it's important. Mods are wonderful. There's even a mod for British people that changes every reference to Fall to the word Autumn; do Americans say autumnal? If so, why don't they say Autumn... maybe they do. Also, you can put rubbish back in the dumpster to recharge it. You mouse-over the currency value to see your bits and pieces volume. You can make things with the workbench and recycle them with the recycler in build and buy. Sitting on a living chair sounds really creepy, what if it grabs your arse.

It means your sim is content, not feeling especially one way or another. If your sim stays “fine” for long enough, you get the option to “surge emotion” and you can pick any emotion for your sim to start feeling. It’s kinda neat.
