I agree that the resin system is terrible for casual players. I also think it’s awful that you can’t get birthday rewards if you don’t log in on that day. I think it should be still given to you, even if you choose to celebrate in the real world instead of online. My birthday was last weekend, and I went away for the weekend so I didn’t get my birthday cake and fragile resin :(

i missed the inazuma birthday cake because i logged in an hour after midnight, i thought it would still count bc the server resets at 5 am. im kinda bummed bc that cake was my favorite so far

I think the training guide gives you recommendations based on your world level. Angel’s world level is 6 so she’s actually very well built for that world level.

I like hsr more as a casual player since my resin builds so I can collect it when I come back, I’m pulling for aventurine and it was so easy to farm for him after not playing for two weeks because I had 2400 resin built up! Dunno why genshin refuses a system like that but who can guess 🤷‍♀️

​@@TenshiOMAcraziest thing is the devs have given 10 fuels ( same as original resin) in the mail two times. The collected resin does take a month to cap out though. Give the game a try if you don't mind turn based combat!

But it charges 3x slower than the max capacity of TP. Ofcourse if they didnt, they might as well set the max capacity to 2640.

9:15 someone already pointed this out, the reason why the guide tells you that "its formidable already" is partly because the guide takes account your current world level. So some characters 'might' not be "formidable" anymore if you raise the WL 😂

9:17 it's more correct than u think. U misunderstood it or missed it but even when that bar goes to green if u can see the bar isn't max so basically it's mean even it's good u can still upgrade it and the text is just there for not being empty and a tiny explanation.

For a casual I’d personally wouldn’t recommend the nahida prototype amber route. I think it probably makes the game more difficult and confusing for a more causal player. Just replace either nahida or furina with another character is what I’d advise.

Recorded this a while ago, I believe I said it was better than having no healer at all. Far better, in fact. Needing *some* amount of healing with Furina is not that confusing. Furina is a dysfunctional character without any healing, which is kinda the problem I was basically discussing more than anything. Its better to use Nahida on Pamber than have nothing at all, but I may have goofed in the editing/during recording in not emphasizing that as the point. In tomorrows video I go more in depth into talking about healer recommendations with Angel, though.

@@Solunerra I definitely agree with you there that some is better then none. I’d just ask angel how they feel cause your never gonna be at good health with furina if your just using amber so for example Yao Yao is definitely the more comfy pick for beating abyss for example and of course you get more value out of furina in that case as well. For a casual I’d suggest doing that or moving Furina into a team that can maximize her value if possible but it is Angels account of course so it’s there choice in what they want to do.

@@satinrotif you feel like it you could also totally swap out one of your electro characters for kuki shinobu who is also a healer (if you want to keep nahida and have a bit more healing), plus she also will be doing quite a bit of damage through hyperbloom if built full em (which also helps her heal through her passive). If there is one thing then it would be that kuki hyperbloom is hard meta so you might not want to feel like a meta chaser 😅

I’ve also never 36 *d the abyss. By choice, because I don’t enjoy abyss at all, it’s too stressful for me lol. I know my characters could handle it, I have plenty of well built 5* and 4* characters. I just haven’t been motivated to do it

I managed to get through floor 11 recently thanks to the massive Geo damage bonus (I play with a lot of geo characters now) but tbh I don't think I'm gonna force myself to go further. Keeping my world level lower and playing casually is more fun, and the abyss is a decent challenge but incredibly stressful! Even just doing floor 9 and 10 I can feel my heart racing with the anxiety! The countdown at the top of the screen doesn't help much lol

Finally a kindred spirit lol I love exploring but HATE combat so I pull all the strongest characters, build them perfectly and then use them to annihilate hilichurls in overworld in less than one sec 😂

Hu Tao main here, her burst provides a lot of frontloaded damage and also provides healing on hit, very useful for her hp drain mechanic. Level 6 is not the place to stop levelling her burst. Stop at 9 if you dont want to crown it.

18:23 I saw the paddle, SoSS is among Hu Tao's best weapons so if resources aren't scarce I'd level it up for her, though idk how significant the upgrade is over R2 Deathmatch

I've been playing for two months and I've kept myself at AR45 and reduced the world level because I was prepared for enemy levels to go up by about 10-15 not by 20. I'm probably going to stay like this for a while since it's hard to build up characters when the game is so luck based and resources are so limited. You can't earn good characters or weapons. You have to be lucky enough to pull them. Ascension material need to respawn everyday or every other day and resin is limited so you can't farm bosses and domains much.

Personally, I’d have recommended levelling Kuki up and replacing Fischl but tbf her healing isn’t perfect so maybe Yao Yao is better + with off field electro DMG dealers Yao Yao can be on field with her burst constantly

i also struggle with abyss and i only managed to 36 star it once, during hutaos first rerun back in like 2.2 😭i have the majority of characters (characters i dont have: chiori, baizhu, eula, klee, lyney, neuvillette, venti, wriothesley, xianyun and xiao) and they're built (i follow online guides) so i dont think thats the issue, i think im just not a good enough player lol how does one fix that? do i suffer through the abyss over and over until i get better?

I was on AR50 for a long time too, also WL5, cause I thought WL7 and 8 would be too hard and ruin the fun of exploration and story. Once I got Navia that changed though. Whenever something feels difficult for me I play Navia Zhongli Barbara Yelan and my enemies die to 250k+ DMG. Navia is love, Navia is life. I went straight to AR59 after ascension and in the meantime even reached AR60. And I can play on WL8. So hey, fear has been removed, nice. :)

I've been playing this game for almost a full year and I've been staying at AR45 so I could grind for my characters. This man has some dedication for staying at AR50 for 3+ years.

i have been playing for two monts and im AR 54, it took me two days to get from AR53 to 54 so i suppose its going to get harder so i suppose its going to be A LOT of time to get to AR 60

I have never 36 star the abyss would you still be willing to gauge weather it's builds or skill although the builds aren't that bad so not much fixing is needed

Kinda in the same position but at least know it's down to me rather than characters/builds as I don't field optimal teams, just ones I have fun with.

Ive been playing since 2022 and im ar 55 and my only built character is yanfei who does 5k damage when she crits..

Gacha games is not for casual people. It was made for certain group of people and it continues catering the niche interest and habits of that group. Saying that resin system is a big letdown is just not something that is relevant to a game that is based on the principles of gambling. Gacha game will continue its gambling nature because that is the core purpose and it's way of earning revenue. If you really hate Gacha games, please play other games.

Welp....... Ive had an account for 3 years too... And i just leveled from AR 45 to AR 50 in like November and i still have 800k exp hoarded 🤣🤣 i had a friend i used to play with(they were casual so i stayed low AR so they could join me) but we arent friends anymore. And im a near daily player 🤣🤣 im not stuck either i just chose to hoard my EXP

Empyreans technically. Would like elites but Im not so into audio that I try numerous expensive headphones (or amps, I know many audio people would scoff at me for the little FiiO dac I use with the Empyreans). I ultimately just bought them used because I wanted to try them, but they are so comfortable to wear for hours on end and have made me appreciate different types of music that I ended up keeping them lol

I've been playing since january of 2023 and haven't felt the need to let my AR go past 50. I also reduced the world level by 1 so I'm really playing on easy mode. Yeah it takes longer to get enemy and boss drops, but I can fight the max level weekly bosses and kind of clear floor 11 in the abyss? (Idk if it'll continue given I was really using that ley line damage boost in 4.5) I just don't really feel like making the game harder if I don't have to, I like playing on easy mode lol (plus it made all those local legends a LOT easier haha)

My primary monitor is an LG C2 42" TV (which has its downsides compared to similar OLED displays made to be a computer monitor but was literally $500 cheaper at the time I bought it)

Her energy needs are wildly horrible if you heal with her as a solo hydro. Its not something I personally recommend to most players outside of when you really need to. Its not enough to let you get the dmg bonus with consistency but it is enough to keep you alove sometimes

Man people getting so triggered over resin being capped, like who gives a damn? You say it's made to pressure people into logging in every day, but the only one putting that mentality on you is yourself. Feeling like you need to log in to use your resin is a you problem, I've never once felt like that. I've left my resin full for weeks idgaf because i just didnt feel like using it and I dont feel like I was punished. I earned mora and exp books from events and already had good artifacts and the characters I like playing built up, so I just didnt use it. More people need to chill out and stop getting so bothered by capped resin, they're just causing themselves unnecessary stress that is entirely on themselves.

The entire progression you have in the game is tied to resin more than anything. Its not necessary to login everyday but it is the main measure of account progress

@@Solunerra No it's not. You decide about the goals of your account and what counts as progress towards them. Resin is a bullshit system designed for player retention, which can hinder or help your playing experience. ~ Sincerely, player who is still at AR 25 with 1,75m AR exp after 3 years and only cares about glitching or occasionally doing spiral abyss for gold artifacts. Also about half of my friends list (around 20 people) are either maxed AR 35 or 45. The ones who stayed at AR 35 only play to collect new teapot items and designs, the ones who stopped at AR 45 only care about the main story, select few characters and nothing else.

There was no resin to use lol. If wanted someone farming artifacts go elsewhere, theres 1000 genshin creators who make "I spent 1000000 resin building {insert character here} videos" I want these videos to be me imparting knowledge, not just engaging with the rng and hoping for good luck. I will try to refine how I show things in these videos and change up the format a bit though (in hindsight I wouldve made part 2 of this video basically be the entire main video, but I also wanted to play around with separating it into parts). Im always playing around with how I make videos, so I appreciate the feedback, but Im not gonna make these just be resin farming videos in another format.
