Can I cross Tears of the Kingdom without stepping off the road?

This challenge is really interesting and I had a lot of fun attempting it.
I suggest you give it a try.... now it was pretty annoying having to restart a file and get 3 hearts. Do you know what you have to go through to do that? Well you leave the sky islands with 4 hearts........ so in order to remove a whole ass heart, you gotta beat a dungeon. then go to outpost landing. then talk to a evil cursed statue. then he takes a heart away. there you go.
Well I don't recommend going thru all that. So just try it like...... can u make it across the path without getting damaged or something. You know? Maybe like, no picking up items allowed, only fusing. There's also bridges, which i was gonna talk about in the rules section but i assume everyone gets that bridges count as roads and if I step off the bridge, i lose? I think we all get that.

Lev. You could play anything and I would watch your commentary. How about some mario sunshine? It's got a beach.
I love how with most other games challenge runs are usually about only using certain items or not using a core feature and then totk challenge runs are just L I N E

Love it, if you limit what's explorable it immediately becomes it's own "linear" experience. Each challenge has it's obstacles and they're really quite creative. I love how this games keeps on giving.
This genuinely looks like a fun little challenge, going to spend my afternoon giving this a shot. Thanks for the idea Tev.

Update. It went real bad! 27 death later though we made it to the beach boys. (Had a lot of fun)

I thought I clicked on some random, quirky challenge KZreadr's video. Then I realized it was Tev and I sighed a huge sigh of relief knowing that I wasn't watching the some boring joe, but rather my favorite professional gamer.

I think trying to get from the somewhere like kakariko or zoras domain to hebra mountains going across lots of electric enemies in Zora and the freezing in hebra would be difficult!

The main takeaway from this video is that tomatoes are effective weapons.
Technically you lost crossing the Bridge of Hylia since its not a road on the map
Not watching on the road for enhanced experience
You can still use ascend, can't you?
