All the character within the desert are a reference to the yugioh archetype called springans who have captains and robots, but they are called kitt who looks the same as in yugioh, also got rockey within the archetype rly cool

Story’s 10/10 best story in a Pokémon game good job mate

Honestly, it feels like the devs should make this into their own monster catcher RPG (I'm thinking along the lines of something like Jade Cocoon)! The story of this game feels like a traditional RPG story and could absolute stand alone rather than being tied to a Pokemon romhack.

i agree with this for many of these rom hacks. unfortunately it’s a lot easier for these creative people to import their stories into a usable game and engine. especially compared to creating a game from scratch, and for free

​@ZerohFault granted, making a fangame carries the constant risk of being evaporated by a cease and desist from everyone's favorite small indie company. If you have a good game idea, and it doesn't need to be Pokemon, learning game development could end up saving a headache down the line, and you can actually get paid for your work. I'd rather spend 100 hours learning RPG Maker than have a year or more's work trashed because Gamefreak criminalized my efforts. It is unfortunate that Gamefreak is so willing to punish their fans for their creativity and love of the franchise, but hey, it's their legal right, so there's nothing really to be done.

Hello, I helped translating this game in english. I wanted to give a little bit of a fun fact, this game isn't the first time we see Rennac. Rennac originates from another Rom Hack from the same team called Pokémon Climax where we play as him.

this game is based on the dungeon crawler by atlus called "etrian odyssey", it even copies the name of the items, potion = medica, and ariadne thread which is like an escape rope

And also ariadne thread is the thing that Perseus used to not get lost in the minotaur labyrinth irrc. Both games use reference of greek mythos here

@@ryomahoshi4529 Theseus, not Perseus. Perseus is the one who chopped off Medusa's head, Theseus took down the minotaur so his city would no longer have to send seven young men and women as as a sacrifice to King Minos.

Was not expecting a pokemon + etrian odyssey crossover... looks pretty cool.

"Yggdrasil" "Medica" wait a minute, An Etrian Odyssey inspired rom hack !? "F.O.E" IT IS! that is so cool

This one seems to be fun. It seems more like a fan game than a rom hack even.

Recomendation: pokemon reloaded, a sick fangame that one of my friends help made, dont get shocked by the combat sistem, you can chose from any MC and rival till gen 6 + ash and garry + new ones from this reg, reg star, with brand new gym and leage + ALL GYM AND LEAGE TILL GEN 5, and more coming Protip: riolu is busted

Best pokemon I ever got from wonder trade zwiggo was in alpha sapphire a few years ago someone traded me a level 100 shiny Sylveon i was shocked I actually just traded my entire Eevee team from alpha sapphire to shield and now to violet. Also love your videos been watching your channel for some years

I started playing this game after watching your video . I played in hard mode and with soft level cap and during the mission in power plant after completing it , I was doing some exploration and their I encountered a shiny magnemite. Btw I love watching your videos.

no joke, best ive ever gotten was a hacked shiny vaporeon with questionable moves. had me rolling for hours

So this is just Etrian odyssey mashed up with pokemon set dressing yeah? Still pretty neat

I got a shiny darkrai once in Pokémon X through wonder trade and it surprised me so much

The best wonder trade Mon I got was my Oras wonderlocke starter it was a hidden ability phantump that evolved into a trevenant

Best wonder trade i ever got was in Sun i believe where i got babè the alolan Raichu. It carried me through so many tough battles easily with clutch dodges, crits, and survival's.

I like how there are regional versions but i don't like how most are pokemon that already have alternate versions

So the best Pokemon I ever got from a wonder trade was a (most likely hacked) Lvl100 Regidrago. The only reason I say it's the best is because I needed it for the Regigigas encounter in Pokemon sword and I was lucky enough to have got it on my 11th wonder trade! Hope this comment is kinda interesting to someone 😅

This reminds me of Etrian Odyssey, another Atlus game that is quite difficult if you don't know what you are doing. I played the 4th game demo first and beat the Fomido Oppertunis Erraticus's available in the demo despite the really low level cap and difficulty level. Bought the game and got my team from the demo and got all the way to the Superboss, but couldn't defeat that boss as that boss is cracked. And technically, the only games you need to play in order are the first and second if you want to migrate the first team to the second game which works via password or, for the HD Remaster, just have a save with a completed game for the first game. All I am saying is Superbosses in Etrian Odyssey are a whole other level of difficulty

the most hilarious thing i have recently recieved from a mystery trade was a very clearly hacked or cheated in iron leaves with maxed evs and the best part it was holding a fucking master ball which is funny because in scarlet and violet master balls have pretty much been rendered pointless since you can timer ball cheese most legendaries anyway i already had 2 sitting around collecting dust now i got three
