I ran into this trying a Latias run... only to realize Poochyena can’t be harmed by Psywave, and Latias has to grind to like Level 20 to get anything but Struggle. Ouch.

Looking forward to this! Ralts is one of my favorite pokemon. I have a recommendation for a future pokemon challenge. Can you beat the game using only one Hitmonchan and you can only use the elemental punches in battle. I know with the universal Pokémon randomizer, you can have your starter Pokémon arrive holding a held item. That way you could do the whole run using only the punches.

One of these days he’ll tell us what fossil he took.

Currently working on a history paper, and watching this video was my reward for finishing another page. I love the channel man, keep up the good work!

Glad to see the "Can I beat" series going strong. Thought I subscribed before , but now I definitely am. Can't wait for the tag team of fossil run with KZread the Lileep and Algorithm the Anorith.

Challenge: Beat Elder Scrolls Morrowind using only given equipment. Explanation: You can only use items given to you during the main course of the game via NPCs. You cannot steal from anything, cannot loot dungeons for anything not needed for a quest, and cannot buy any items from NPC shopkeeps.

I was watching him like three hours ago on Twitch. He was all like... On my way Rome I took Jerusalem. I knew that if I didn't say what I took you'd all ask. Actually, now that I think about it everyone asks anyway. Holy Wars are good for the assurance of eternal salvation in Heaven.

Congrats on 10 years hope you have had as much fun making videos as I have watching them and thank you for all the work you put into making the content we all enjoy.

Possibly one of the best challenges, though i may be biased because ralts and its evolutions are some of my favourite pokemon. Congrats MDB.

No. He takes the Dome fossil, but calls it the Helix fossil, and acts like it is perfectly normal

Can you beat Pokemon Platinum with HM slaves only? (Bibarel and Pelipper, they are both only allowed to use HMs (apart from 1st gym of course)

Honestly would love another Gen 5 run! It's been so long!!! Really like what you are doing btw!!! Love the challenges and the kinda dry humor! But my idea for a Gen 5 challange would be can you beat the game with a single lilipup or something along those lines! Would love to see what you do with it!

Emerald is full of Water-type Pokémon, so it wouldn't be a challenge. At most, a tedious walkthrough.

That's an anime thing. In the games Sabrina is 6th, because while Koga is available as soon as you can remove Snorlax, Sabrina isn't available until after you clear Silph.

Oh, I LOVE conjuration runs! It's such a fun magic tree. You can just go sneaky archer with bound bow. But it'd probably be more interesting to use Atronachs

As much as i love these challenges, i would like to see more of them in RSE, HGSS and DDP. It would be refreshing, since most of your last challenges were in Red/Fire Red, espacially when you use a pokémon from the respective generation (i would also like B/W but i get that it's harder because of the exp system). But nevertheless, i'm hyped for every challenge you do, it's probably the only constant in my life

On the way, I took the algorithm fossil. I knew if I didn't say "KZread Helix" you'd all comment. Actually, now that I think about it, everyone good anyway. Rock tunnel is good for the algorithm helix.

Considering Ralts is one of my favourite pokemon, I'm actually amazed with how weak it is. I've always known it's pretty weak but psychic types were so dominant in early gens that I didn't even think about it.

Ha I liked the ending. You just ended up listing each Pokémon you killed without any other commentary. Like there was nothing else to say

Always love your Pokémon challenges, but I wish we’d see more of the wrestling reference nicknames! I miss those! Abra for Ralts or Growlithe for Houndour or stuff along those lines are funny, but the wrestling references are a nice treat for those of us who are wrestling fans, and there’s no negative impact for those who aren’t. Regardless, I will continue to love these Pokémon challenges, as well as the rest of the stuff on your channel!

Yay! The Gardevoir line is my favorite Pokémon species, so seeing a Ralts make it through this kind of challenge is nice!

Yes! The Ralts line is by far my favorite in the game! Not for the normal reasons mind you. My first Pokemon game was FireRed and I used to love the Abra line, so I would run around with a team of 3-4 Kadabra, but I had no friends to trade with and got kind of annoyed that I couldn't evolve them. Then, I was playing Pokemon Ruby looking for Pokemon and found Ralts, thought it weird that all it knew was Growl and decided to train it, then I realized that it was a strong Psychic type that had 3 forms (I believe this was before bulbapedia) and I had myself a new favorite Pokemon.
