switching to kokomi would remove his fast dendro application and since he is only using 1 dendro he needs nahida on field most of the time for bloom proc's, and putting kokomi on the field is just a dps loss

for magu kenki, just be sure you're always in front of him so his back are against the wall so once he teleports to the wall he won't be teleporting anywhere else

That's true for 80% of the time, but Kenki does have an attack in which he dashes forward, followed by an anemo slash, so he can escape that corner but that's kinda rare I guess.

maguu will always dash to where your camera i facing, and this includes burst animations too. but the mages will always tp to where your character is looking, and the same rule applies to the whopperflowers.

@@emeraly2721 I suppose I'm speaking only from my experience then, cause for me it's quite rare, and it never mattered if Kenki was against the wall or not, he just dashes forward whenever he feels like it. Most of the time for me when Kenki is against the wall, he'll just do basic attacks or his big plunge.

Nope, its not. Healers in this game already over-heal but im assuming this is for content so he is playing it up. The proof is in the fact that he didn't use any healers on floor 11 as if to try to make it seem a lot harder.

Nah hard disagree on the Welnut, even if u can knock it down if stays down for maybe 5-7 seconds, spending most of the time underground is just ugh. Maybe it’s a skill issue but I feel like they should really try keeping bosses that purposely waste time out of the abyss lol

I’m pretty sure nahida alone on floor 11 would’ve been fine .. she can one shot all those blob things at the end with 1 skill you just have to do a full circle basically .. you could’ve probably taken yae and a healer or a different shielded instead of Sara and Tighnari

I've had him since his first run and use him regularly and even I'm not this reliant on him lmao. Ig it's expected tho since I have an alt that didn't have him for over a year and still doesn't use him for abyss.

Same here, heck I didn't have Zhongli until his second rerun and I was still doing fairly well in the abyss. The only decent shielder I had was Diona and she carried me with both heals and a good shield. Though I suppose it cause I played Honkai and PGR more often, so dodges there are kind of a necessity xD

I didn’t have zhongli until 3.0 and I can’t agree more with this. zhongli makes the game a little boring to me since you do less damage and you don’t even have to care about mechanics which is the fun of playing a game

I'm a super casual player who knows the meta in theory but doesn't have the skills or time to actually apply it to the abyss- so moga struggling is relatable to me! Of course the part where he has literally every character in the game and five star weapons/constellations isn't relatable.. but hey, that's what I get for watching a content creator. It was a fun video to watch, as usual!

ok but u know the theoretical part and just lack the skill and/or resources (chars + weapons) to execute it moga ONLY has resources due to whaling but he lacks both the theoretical knowledge AND the mechanical skill

the good thing about Zhongli is that he allows you to brute force a lot of things the bad thing about Zhongli is that he allows you to brute force a lot of things

Imagine how more crazy that bloom team would be if there was a second dendro applier and helaer (like a certain small buny character) instead of Yelan who's litteraly there just for style points 🙃

@@Relevart9169 Well from how many times his nahida died obviously he needed two healer. Also, I don't know if you understand how a nilou bloom team works but the extra blooms he would generate from having a second dendro in the team would way outshine Yelan's damage contribution in this team. Also, about yelan's hydro application, in bloom teams you are better off keeping a dendro aura on the enemy while triggering blooms with hydro to generate two seeds at a time instead of only one, Nilou's ring and kokomi are all the hydro application he needs.

this is so painful to watch kokomi and yelan are just chilling there with their burst up while nahida taps the worm xD dude is so stressed he keeps forgetting his characters have ults

Honestly it wouldn't surprise me. Maybe triple lvl 100 midnight Masanori and you have to talk to all three of them to even start the fight, all on the clock of course.

Your Super-bloom team for the abyss will be so much better once Kaveh is out because of his resistance to dendro core damage, which we all need tbh

@@sekaiia_lazy true, idk when i run bloom i usually run aggravate on the other side. i use nahida there, feel like shes better there for the characters i use. so i use traveler and yaoyao for bloom, it works fine tbh. youre right nahida is the best dendro applicator, it flows better w her for sure. i just think hes not properly playing, thats the issue. not using characters kits to their best ability /:

This was extremely painful to watch lol. It's like Moga just forgets everything about how the game works once Zhongli is not there.

I will just say, I really did not expect you to struggle THIS much Moga... Not going to lie this almost makes me feel like I'm an actually skilled player now, considering I do not have zhongli and play Abyss Shield-less most of the time... Your friend might've been right, a month without him will do you some good.

Bro is so addicted to Zhongli that he forgot that Bloom damages the active character too. He really took a dendro team with NO healers to a floor with all hydro enemies and really except he won't die instantly

It's nice to see Moga finally learning how the game works.

Since you're on a Zhongli cleanse I think it'd be a great time bring out Albedo for your Itto team! He can snapshot Gorou's buff and do some really good damage as the third geo slot in that team.

Yes Moga Yao yao is almost a must for Superbloom team

For floor 11 I took Yaoyao into floor 11 instead of my other healers for chamber 2 and 3. Was fun watching the mimics and Hypo make bloom happen for themselves.

Bro, his inability to make good team comps after all this time is kind of infuriating 😭 if you see the water mobs, just bring cryo units, you won't even get hit.

I feel so bad for Nahida here 😭

I even play on mobile yet I don't struggle like this even without using Zhongli. Guess team building is definitely his main problem here, struggling without using Zhongli in almost any team he plays. It hurts me to not see Albedo in his Itto Team despite having him and chose Noelle instead just because of the shield yet Bennett & C4 Gorou can survive him enough. Another thing is that he probably forgot picking Kazuha then use other DPS or even like Xiangling in this video especially against those Frostarm Lawachurls.

Team building and a tad bit of game knowledge too. 😅 He could've used Raiden National on first half of floor 12 and beat those frost lawachurls so much faster - giving his second team so much more time. I'll give him that Wenut is a big pain in the ass bc it's pattern can be so random, but Magu Kenki can easily be manipulated by aiming your camera to the staircase/wall, forcing him to not teleport everywhere. He really got too much dependent on Zhongli and onga boonga everything atp.

Nahh I used ZL all the time back then and still managed to 36* abyss w/o him. Was on mobile too. Only switched to controller recently. I think the issue here isn't " him being used to using ZL." It's more to lack of knowledge abt enemies mechanics and teams.

If you know, whether you're used to using ZL or not, you will still be able to do it if you know the characters well. Hence why i said it's not really "using ZL too much" issue. It's the lack of understanding the mechanics and the characters. I mean there's nothing wrong in that. You play how you wanna play I guess. If he likes using ZL in his team then go ahead. Team-building issues aside (why would you neglect to bring a defensive unit in a team which creates dendro cores that can hurt you??), I think if Moga understood the different characters and the enemies' AI a little bit more this mightve been a lot less painful.

you can knock wenut down with yelans burst pose, so you can save some time without having to charge shot and then do burst animation. it's not much but as someone who beats wenut 1 second on time it's helpful.

You can scan every hypostasis slime with nahida

Zhongli doesn't just stop incoming damage, he also stops Moga from losing his mind

I think a big problem aswell not only with you being too uses to having zhongli is that you never learned any attack patterns of enemies or bosses. The hydro hypostasis fight was always like that and you waited to long at the start for your set up, and it got downed again because the hydro slime blew up in its vacinity. I think a video where you learn attack patterns for bosses would be cool, and good for your play overall.

Moga: It's okay, we don't need ZhongLi, we don't use ZhongLi. Diona and other shielders: 👁👄👁

as a player who doesn't rely on zhongli, this video is painful moga, other shielders exist (diona, thoma, layla) [and healers, you were really making yourself struggle in floor 11 with no healers second half] and also, for your geo team first half, you shouldn't use both noelle and itto. choose one and then throw albedo (or someone else) in for more geo particles. running a dual dps team rarely works well (gorou and bennett heal so you wouldve been fine with just itto gorou bennett albedo) and don't forget to use nahida's skill!!! you got this, hopefully april will be a period of enlightenment for you 🙏🙌

Seeing C3 Nahida died multiple times (although having kokomi in the parties at fl12) is enough to make me cry 😢

here’s some abyss teams that don’t rely on zhongli: yelan w/ sunfire jean, miko hyper carry w/ dmc, Alhaitham/miko aggravate/quicken, Alhaitham hyper bloom, hu tao double hydro double pyro, hu tao triple hydro, kaeya melt/reverse melt, ayaka freeze (2 options ayaka w/ mona or ayaka w/ koko). I’ve tested all these teams this abyss and had a lot of fun :))

How painful to watch should this be? Moga: yes

i want zhongli for my yoimiya, but im worried my dodging skills will become non existent lmao

Well you can only have one half with Zhongli so you still need to dodge sometimes. And Yoimiya is one of the characters that are just annoying to play without a shield.

i use diona, and shes fine. especially at c6 you get a em boost and you have heals plus some melts.

As someone who used to have zhongli and used him on every single domain and abyss run since I got him I feel proud to say that I'm really good at dodging compared to moga

On this episode of “Moga Forgets Healers exist”

Nahida died so much to the point that hoyo will prob give you a 5 upgrade HP artifact

After the one month of not using zhongli try not use zhongli too much to get better at dodging again. Also try to build a team that is not center around zhongli with big shield, try using a team without a healer my team hyperbloom only has xq as a healer that doesn't heal that much but It help me get better at dodging

I don't know why it oddly feels satisfying for the people who rely on zhongli so much getting beaten up without his shield 😅

The only thing in your head is damage damage damage instead of thinking about synergy and survivability. Zhongli isn't necessary. Learn to dodge, have a healer for backup. You gotta learn enemy attack patterns. Stop using shields entirely until you can survive normal stuff.

17:30 anemo can't swirl dendro and geo, so those elements won't work on those bubbles

Here's a tip against maguu kenki always Try to hit him and there is a wall in front of you because maguu kenki back dashing not teleporting. So if he tried to back dash he can't because there's a wall behind him.

If you’re struggling to beat Abyss without Zhongli, then having him won’t change much. In fact, it’ll just make you perform even worse. I’m honestly glad you’re doing this challenge, because you NEED to stop relying on Zhongli. Hell, I’d even go so far as to say you should make it no shields at all.

I use Zhongli mainly because of his meteor animation (I even crowned his burst)

he just tried to infuse dendro with anemo while fighting the wenut

For the hydro cube, i would recommend taking the heal from the light blue hydro slime as he spits it out to the hydro cube, it heals your active character rather than healing the hydro cube

Bloom against single target that is mostly underground. I'd switch teams the first time I see I can't do it.

Not useless, remember it buffs the active Character's EM. But yea, the majority of the use comes out of it if you use nahida's skill

You can still use Nahida's Burst tho but mainly for I-Frame

Cool fact Moga : The hydro cube blobs can be one shot by Nihida Hold E. Just need to "look" at all of them and once you release the E, they die.

Man missed on the perfect opportunity to use yae and tighnari.Nahida makes yae hit like a truck and yae allows tighnari to spread add a fischel and that's a glasscannon team.
