I'm *VERY* happy to see Rebecca/Lickilicky in this run: I had one on my team on my first Platinum playthrough when the game came out --I ended up favoring him above my Torterra due to the bulk, coverage & resistances. Thanks for bringing back some good memories, Silph.

I genuinely love normal and grass types. I've always loved Zigzagoon and Breloom specifically, since I was a kid. Idk, I just always love to see other people trying to grow an appreciation towards these types.

4:19 Jubilife WAS supposed to have a gym but got scrapped in the final release. 1 time I soloed Roark w a overlevelled Staravia cuz I didn't feel like using anything else at that point. Chansey being caught in Heal Ball is perfect.

Idk if you'll see this but you don't actually have to use defense curl the turn before rollout just has to have been used and pokemon not switched out. Might help in a future run

I did this run a few years ago, it was so easy with Blissey and surprisingly Bibarel because of his ability to double his stat boosts, Curse was so OP on Bibarel

@@Shovelglove545 for sure, though I think this was before Bibarel had Quick Attack, so I Ran Return, Waterfall, Curse and Rest. It was incredible to sweep the Elite Four with a Bibarel lol and Blissey was Serene Grace, Softboil, Psychic, Shadowball and Charge Beam. Those two were all I needed.

@@Shovelglove545 go for it, I will say, I got lucky though relying on Serene Grace Luck with Charge Beam for the Boost to SP ATk. So I probably could have thought of a better strategy. But I'm not very good at Pokemon, I just like doing Hardcore nuzlockes for funs lol they kinda revived my fandom for Pokemon

I'd probably say that male Lopunny making that Garchomp fall in love with him definitely saved you in that final battle.

More than likely she saw the kill on Staraptor with either Aura sphere or shockwave so as typical of AI she chose at random and it just so happened to be aura sphere.

Honestly, giving Barry Piplup would've probably been a bigger challenge, just because you get plenty of Normal Type options that serve as good counters to Fighting types

The Victory Road music during the Eterna-Hearthome section was a little weird

I was doing a Nuzlock of SS and I put it down for over 7 months just before reaching Mahogany town. I decided to just keep playing and not bother counting deaths anymore because I was pretty lost. Good thing I did, because I decided to scout out the level cap of the gym and wiped to the first guy's level 35 dratini. It got an agility off and proceeded to land and Crit 6 straight dragon rushes. All because I swapped my Lv 32 Ampharos out for my Lv 40 vibrava, expecting an iron tail or a t-wave.

For my first run through of Gen 4 I used a Lopunny because I simply disliked boxing pokemon at the time, It was Adamant nature and basically carried any physical attacking lifting with it's surprisingly strong movepool and massive Return hits.
