Hey silph what are the chances of you doing a challenge mode HC monolocke of these games ??

Fun Fact: Despite being a physical attacker, Unfezant only gets 3 physical moves by level up. Quick Attack from the start, Facade at level 55 and Sky Attack at level 66. It took until Gen 8 for it to receive Brave Bird and only by TR. Game Freak just didn't gave a sh!t about this bird.

You can… in lostlorn forest you can use repel and go into shaking grass for a 5% chance of vespiquen and 0% chance of any other flying Pokémon. I’ve done this run before

Yeah, Game Freak made it a little too hard to get Vespiquen and the chances of actually getting it on the first go are so slim, just allow it

I love how the opelucid gym fits white 2 so much better, they didn’t even bother trying to make it fit in with the futuristic black 2 opelucid

I think the biggest accomplishment of this run is getting Swanna to the elite four and champion fight, and having it be useful. They're such an underrated mon, glad to see it get some attention.

Sigilyph is Gen 5’s best Flying Type.

New Hardcore Rule: Male Combee Clause If you get a male Combee, you are able to get a new ability because screw male Combee. This will also apply to Salandit.

Actually you can paralyze Electric types normally in Gen 5, in fact if it was the way it was in Gen 6 and onward you would not be able to paralyze them with Static either.

Did not expect the Edge Chronicles callout. What an under rated series.

Just want to comment about Cheren's battle in case people are having trouble. He'll always try to buff his stats with Work Up, so if you have a Pokemon with Growl, you can actually negate all his attack buffs and he'll run out of PP before you do. Since neither of his Pokemon have any Special Attacks, you have nothing to worry about. Obviously, you should only really do this if you're playing super safely for a Nuzlocke or something. Just brute force him on a casual run.

At this point I'll always presume the answer is yes. At this point Silph has played through so many of these that he's got them down to a system. Good on the strategy and more than capable to smoothly get through these.

Light screen and reflect help alot for the 4th and 5th gym

Great video as always! Just my two cents: 42:36 There you should have went with Swords Dance since a full restore was guaranteed. From there on you probably could have definitely one shotted Lapras and maybe even some more of his mons. Great run though!

Swanna STAYS goated! My Swanna was my first ever level 100 Pokemon in my Pokemon Black save file (that I still have), and she carried me through pretty much the whole Elite Four, N, and Ghetsis, and helped to fill out my Pokedex that I finally completed recently. S tier Pokemon, despite the middling stats.

Silph, i would love to see you do a Nuzlock of any game while only using Bird Pokemon. Not interested in their types. Only their 'species'. If they resemble a bird, you can use them. Even if they don't have the Flying type. Torchic being an example. Thanks for the videos!

Flying types always end up supricing, a supricing strong type. I did something simular to this in pokemon X in my down time and i blazed through it despite grand being the second gym leader

I'm pretty sure Metcalf(gliscor) is prolly a top 5 pokemon. Not including megas. Like if it has poison heal with leftovers or no item for acrobatics it's just a busted mon. It has everything you need. (Healing, hits like a truck, good type, decently fast, not super bulky but enough). All around amazing.

I love yanmega! He needs some kind of evolution but it's a super fun pokemon.

you are 100% correct. Black 2 is the undisputed best pokemon game created. From storylines, to difficulty and just the longevity of the game itself, Incredible. Blows the others clean out of the water. This is the type of pokemon games we need nowadays. Whatever they are doing now, just aint it! xD
