Glad you got out there and had some fun figuring it out! The close call with the street camera was a really close one!! The foot however was not so lucky and took one head on! I loved hearing the tires scrubbing around while doing. I do have to say the leaxan scraping across the pavement was not as much fun, very cringey! LOL!

The body is sooooo scratched after the full session hahahha 🤦🏻‍♂️

I was riding in a car with a buddy many years ago when he started to lose it around a long sweeping corner, ended up backwards and he managed to turn it into a 360 using both lanes just before a truck passed coming the other way. Older gentleman in a farm truck who just grinned and gave a thumbs up. Were probably doing 50-60 into it and came out around 30-40. It was some small gutless wonder fwd thing overloaded with people.

@@rexrcs Ah cool mate! The Fazer mk2 is a great little low budget chassis..... very similar to the TT02, but slightly better quality plastics. You get a lot for your money- In stock form it's fully ballraced, oil dampers, a re branded hobbywing 1060 esc, and a rather nippy 14 turn brushed motor..... and let's not forget the gorgeous range of highly detailed body shells (I have 2 dodge chargers!) And of course there's also the brushless package that is insanely fast! They do suffer quite bad torque steer, the gearboxes are very noisy, and there isn't many set up options for camber/ride hight adjustability etc..... but upgraded parts are available for 'tinkerers', and just like the TT02, can be fine tuned to create a very good performing chassis. Kyosho even do a rally conversion kit for them! Look forward to potentially seeing one on your channel some time fella! 👍 👍 👍 👍

Thanks man! But im a die hard vehicle dynamics nut since i was a child, it helps that ive been driving rcs my entire life, tethered or not. But those guys that race 😍 those guys have skilllzzzz

Now you need tro try with all of the different drive configurations! Rwd and front wheel drive. I'm sure they'll be something hard in there

Great idea!

That would probably be easier with a bit stiffer suspension, the supple suspension on the XV-02 sure wants to fight that :D Might have to try that at some point :)

Build it and take your time! The front and rear shocks are built different

DX5 is not recommended even though I got it cheap, long story… maybe I’ll make a video in the future when that journey wraps up

@@rexrcs Thanks , even the NX 8 I use to fly with is far less superior to the Radio Master T-16 I also have . But the ease of setup and downloadable flight models keeps me using it .

Question about your cooling fan, is it mounted to push air in, or suck air out?

I wonder whether positive pressure would work well on an RC like a gaming PCs. Blow air in so it's high pressure on the inside, pushing back dust trying to enter.

I can tell you right now, I will NOT be trying this... Maybe 30 years ago, but not now (I have done it in a real car)..
