this is what I like about league tournaments. players gets to rest. meanwhile in dota you get a 5 games and then couple of hours or minutes you'll go straight to finals the same day. imagine the toll that they took before that finals. for me i think thats mentally unfair. I'm a dota player btw but i do love watching lol clips. and i love how they organize the tournaments.

I think both have their own pros and cons in league, because the break is long, the teams that ahead in the meta will not getting the full advantage of it, because the preparation is long and opponent will have time to analyze you. Dota on the other hand because the break between matches is short, will make the teams that ahead of the meta gaining more advantage for the example like TeamSpirit this year and Tundra in 2022 I think if Worlds have the same break as TI, T1 will win it 99℅ because their meta read is superb, but now with 1 week break T1 must thinking again about the meta because opponents can read them from previous matches easily

The seasons themselves are also 8 - 10 weeks instead of 8-12 day tours. That's more on Riot wanting to make a spectacle of it which brings in a lot more viewers and advertising. Valve just doesn't want to invest that much into it (hell their whole 'biggest prize in esports' is 90% player funded, Valve puts barely anything into it)

T1's first worlds win was 10 YEARS AGO and now they have a chance to do it again. Not only is that an amazing storyline, but additionally this amazing T1 roster absolutely deserves a title before sadly disbanding after (most likely) this season (this isnt due to performance though I dont think, I heard that it was due to player salaries on the team being too high [for a single team] by Riot's rules) Never have I wanted a team to win the title this bad before

Think that this year's worlds especially. T1 weren't exactly the favorites to win, especially against all LPL teams. -LNG (Sure maybe) -BLG (Got beaten at MSI) -JDG (A near perfect team in 2023) I mean at one point, people didn't even know if T1 would even qualify for worlds and they got thrashed by GenG 3-0 with a close series against KT. But now, they are fkin hungry for that trophy. I hope they won't make the same mistake twice again by underestimating a 4th seed team.

T1 would have to drop the ball sooooo hard to lose this finals. I know you could have said the same thing about last year, but the way DRX played in quarters and semis last year, you could tell they were peaking out of their minds and continued to do so in the finals. Anything can happen, but unless Zeus forgets how to use a keyboard, I don't think he'll get gapped by Theshy like Bin did.
