Leandro Trossard has been on fire this season. Whenever he plays, he’s not just scoring every time, but his goals are big ones for Arsenal yet nobody is talking about him. Against Manchester City Everton Chelsea Sevilla Porto Liverpool Bayern Munich and now Wolves, his goals have either been ones that’ve opened the scoring for Arsenal or have won them a game or an equalizers and some of his exploits have come off the bench. The guy started on the left wing and he scored again against Wolves to help Arsenal win a much needed game in pursuit of the title. He’s probably the best finisher in the squad and overall he brings a lot to the Arsenal team beyond just the goals. Remember last year they missed out on Mudryk but didn’t necessarily regret it especially since he’s not always lived up to expectations at Chelsea and Trossard has been an absolute bargain for them and it’s no surprise that he’s doing well at Arsenal because everyone knew how good he was at Brighton. Overall, their team is still missing a prolific goalscorer and everyone is talking about them going out in the transfer market and buying a striker, but in some games you wonder where Arsenal would be without Leandro Trossard because he’s chipped in with crucial goals time and time again and he’s been in much better form than Martinelli and Jesus.

Whatever happens in the title race, one thing is for certain which is that Arsenal needs a proper striker assuming they want to elevate themselves to the next level and consistently compete with Manchester City in the Premier League and other competitions. Wingers and midfielders have done a great job chipping in with goals and they’ve had success from set pieces as well, but they’re lacking a 20-25+ goals a season type of player where they have a player guaranteed goals. Everyone knows that Gabriel Jesus is an excellent player and his work rate and technique on the ball he brings a lot to the table in this team when he’s not scoring, but an “elite striker” on a title contending team having 4 goals in the premier league that’s not good on paper. Even he admitted he’s not a goalscorer and this is something you don’t want to hear from a starting striker on a team that wants to win trophies regularly. No matter how well Kai Havertz is playing, he’s still not a number 9 and Mikel Arteta seems to have forgotten about Eddie Nketiah. There’s many top strikers available on the market: Ollie Watkins Victor Osimhen Ivan Toney Alexander Isak Dominic Solanke etc, the players that I mentioned those are strikers that Arsenal need to sign this summer because if they don’t win the premier league this season, many people will say that if they had a prolific goalscorer, they would’ve won the Premier League by now either last season or this season assuming it doesn’t happen.

Liverpool following the departure of Jurgen Kloop, are facing an uncertain future in the summer meaning that you don’t know what’s going to happen to someone like Mohamed Salah for example. He’s under contract at Liverpool until 2025 and sooner or later, we expect him to leave the football club very soon and go over to Saudi Arabia who are still interested in paying big money for him. I don’t know what I would do if I was Liverpool in this situation as you might want to take the money for him, but it should depend on Salah’s intentions. He said that whoever their manager is next season, it doesn’t impact his future. Following a period where his form has dipped just like the team, there’s a section of Liverpool fans who want him sold this summer and if the money is too hard to resist for Salah I wouldn’t be surprised if they sell him to Saudi Arabia because with the way he’s playing, bro needs to pack his bags and go to the Middle East and make that oil money and learn a new language.

He doesn't want to go to Saudi Arabia yet (if ever), and according to Klopp, Liverpool never received any bid from a Saudi club for Salah last summer, let alone this mythical "£150m" bid the media have created and keep talking about ad nauseam.
