I really aprecciate you all still doing this, awesome to see you all back. This makes it so clear that Henry leaving and you guys just essentially dropping FD wasnt entirely voluntary :( And it is a shame, seriously, my favorite football show/channel of all time.

@@myansa We dont really have the full picture, but the speculation is that after Pat left Sky for some reason decided to just sort of shut down FD. Henry seems to have gotten the short end of the stick, being almost unceremoniously kicked out, Oba left, Zack left to concentrate on other stuff, presumably his work for Chelsea, Joe left to continue full time on Sky. Only Dougie and McCubin left on FD while also working for Sky (FD was under Sky for a while before this already). They are keeping it alive by themselves but they have guests here and there. Zack Djelab also does weekly show on his channel now with Henry usually and one more guest so its clear that the interest and passion is still there. They are likely under NDA and cant talk about it, but I think its afe to say that Sky wanted to eliminate them to bring more people to their channel and get them to work ful time there. Its a huge miss for me for sure, but at least Henry and Zack are doing it weekly and Dougie and Mccubin two shows a week.

Imo the main reason that Gravenberch isn't doing too well, is because he left Ajax too early. He was only just becoming "the guy" at Ajax, and then he decided that he was too good for Ajax (when signing an extension and then leaving the year after would have been better for him). His next move to Bayern was also not a great move, as he didn't really get to play there.

Based on the title alone. Does nobody look at underlying numbers anymore? Liverpool are the 4th most over performing team when comparing performances and results. Arsenal are also comfortably the second best team based on understanding numbers. I just don’t see how this was a shocking or unexpected thing. If anything it just proved the base numbers accurate.

Arsenal don’t do the eye test. Until the Liverpool game Arsenal have looked ok. Let’s see what happens when UCL comes round, Teta has never had to play 2 serious games a week.

@ZacDjellabb you did, but you also had to caveat it. It diminishes the praise and neglects the fact that the arsenal also had players missing . But I respect your opinion. It's nice seeing you have your own channel. I still remember when you started at football daily. Good seeing great creators grow , a learnt alot of football knowledge from you , pat , Chris and Joe.

Van dijk has been very poor in back to back games against big six opponents. Against Chelsea it was masked due to them running them over but he did it against Arsenal as well. Details like this count him out of goat CB conversations

Chelsea can’t sack Poch. The club top to bottom is in crisis, and the problems extend so far beyond what a manager can simply do. Is he the guy who wins us the prem again? Almost certainly not, but these young players need someone who will show them consistency and is willing to work with young players and give chances to them. Beyond this, who would we even bring in that would be better than him? I don’t see anyone on the market right now who is better than Poch and would be willing to take this risky job. Better we stick it out.

Despite the fact that Chelsea aren't very good, at least the games are entertaining. Last season was so terrible because they wouldn't score, wouldn't really concede and still wouldn't win so every game was bad and unbelievably boring
